I checked in around 9:30 PM and the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they gave us cookies which was a nice touch. The hotel was very clean, and the beds were really comfortable with fluffy pillows. The next morning I went downstairs for a coffee around 8 AM and the breakfast buffet was already busy. The waitstaff was so friendly and everyone had a smile on their face, which was a great way to start the day. Even though it was raining and gloomy outside, it was really nice to sit by the window with my coffee and watch the waves hit the USS Lexington. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

Workers were all nice and did offer to switch rooms when i told them. Breakfast could be worked on. But the best thing is the hotel is right on the water and my balcony view was great.

The pool is super nice an always immaculate. The staff is so friendly! Shoutout to the housekeeping to who clean your room daily! Maintenance later confirmed the issue, but the way the situation was handled was even more unacceptable than the infestation itself. Instead of urgency or concern for guest safety and sanitation, the staff acted as if this was a minor inconvenience. Rachel at the front desk was particularly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, offering no empathy, no apology, and no real sense of responsibility. Bed bugs are a serious health and hygiene issue — especially for travelers who risk carrying them home or into other lodging. The lack of care, hospitality, and accountability displayed here is deeply concerning, and not what I expect from a Hilton-branded property. I travel often for work and have stayed in countless hotels. This was one of the most stressful and disappointing experiences I’ve had. I hope Hilton corporate properly inspects this property, addresses the pest issue, and provides customer service training to ensure future guests are treated with respect and care. Until then, I do not recommend staying here.
