- MMMandyJan 6, 20262.0My family was horrified!!! This past Sunday, 1/4/26, the housekeeper during the breakfast buffet pulled out a small brush to sweep the crumbs off the breakfast food counters. No biggie right? UNTILLLLL she wiped the waffle maker with the SAME brush and put her bare hands everywhere to grab rest of crumbs. DISGUSTING!!!! My hubs was Soooo grossed out. Thank God he didn’t finish making my daughter’s plate!! She was a heavyset Hispanic female. Lazy, lazy, lazy!! Also, rooms are nothing like the photos. First floor room was ridiculously small. You had to basically step in the shower to close bathroom door. Granted Corpus hotels have a ton of low ratings, but this place had one of the “decent” ratings. As a Best Western member, I am beyond upset! I will be calling corporate.

The only issue I had was all the USB ports were “iffy”. Sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn’t. 🙄. There are quiet areas to relax, a pool,gym,& laundry facilities to wash your own clothes. Parking is plentiful. They do offer breakfast, but I think you need to get there early to get any. Otherwise, it’s cold cereal and muffins…. Overall, I would recommend staying here. I’m not a “Hilton gal” nor a “Motel 6 chick”, so this place suited me just fine!
