The biggest disappointment was paying an inflated rate of $250 for an outdated, unkept room. I was so disappointed. The photos speak for themselves. Pass this one by if you can.

Back story, I run a 6 man field maintenance team for a Frac company. We have a couple of frac crews in the area and we spend about 5 days total in the area. Upon arriving at the this hotel in Buffalo Texas to check in. My team gets their room keys and proceed to their rooms. Within minutes I’m notified that 3 of my guys do not have a refrigerator and microwave and the other 2 are without a microwave. Mind you we will be working 12-14 hour days and we bring our own groceries, since we’re mostly exhausted and don’t want to venture back out. Well back to the story, I was able to get 2 out of the 3 rooms changed so the guys can have a refrigerator. I on the other hand have to share a fridge with another guy who is a couple doors down from me. Also the lady at the front desk informed me that her management has decided that the rooms do not need refrigerators or microwaves, she also told me I should have booked a king size bed room since they have those necessities, which is good to know after the fact. Personally, it sounds like to me as the equipment fails, management is being cheap and refuses to replace the equipment. So moving forward, this will be the last time we will be staying at this hotel. On a positive note, beds are somewhat comfortable and the rooms are clean.

My experience was awful. I tried to check in and was unable after setting up a reservation through Expedia. The front desk employee actually asked me to not use Expedia in the future. However, ultimately the issue was actually on the hotel side not Expedia.

Here for the third year in a row, with a VERY LARGE group to attend an event in town. The daytime staff is great!! Someone HAS to so something about the night desk clerk. She is absolutely one of the rudest people we've ever met. This is only our 3rd year here, but I understand from others in our group who have been here prior, it has been going on for quite a while. For starters, she apparently likes to be totally alone with no noise whatsoever, so she can sit in the dark lobby and watch TV alone all night while she's on duty. This group of very respectful older adults (ages from 50 to 80, so definitely not obnoxious kids) likes to gather in the early evening in the lobby, usually for a friendly card game. We are always finished before 10 pm. She has had a fit each time because it's "too much noise." There's a meeting room in this hotel, never in use when we've been there, and you'd swear we were asking to use a $5000.00 per hour presidential suite when we ask to use it, yet we are "too loud" in the lobby. We've been "allowed" to use the room only twice out of the 12 nights my husband and I have stayed in the last 3 years. This trip, she felt the need to literally fuss at about 8 of us having a conversation in the lobby at 4:30 IN THE AFTERNOON!!! And don't DARE ask for 2 extra wash cloths for the room. She will actually ask for your room number before she very begrudgingly hands them over, as though she's the towel police and we are directly affecting her paycheck by asking for more, and insinuating we would be immature enough to steal a few cheap towels. A couple years ago, when someone in our group asked for extra towels, she very rudely responded, " what do you need that for." This is the "host" hotel for our group, so most all attendees and their families stay here. I feel certain this large group provides at least half, probably more than half, of this hotel's income for the ENTIRE YEAR, with most of us staying four nights!! It's an awful lot of income to lose over one extremely rude employee. It's time for something to be done before she loses a major income source for your property!!
