The hotel staff was friendly and checking in was easy. They even have cookies at the front desk as well as allergen friendly ones for those with food allergies! The rooms were very nice and the bed was comfy. It was also right across the street from a Mexican food place that was delicious for dinner! Definitely a must stay if you're visiting the Boerne area!

- VTVeronica TamezDec 20, 20255.0We came here for the breakfast with Santa event. Upon entry, you had an opportunity to meet and take pictures with Santa. There was a person there to take digital pictures for you (not your phone). I loved this because it was an opportunity for both parents to be pictured with the kids, a family picture. Bonus points because we not only got our picture via text but also printed with a nice border. The hotel and event space was beautifully decorated, all staff we encountered were genuinely sincere and nice. We enjoyed the buffet, which was had a variety of options (real eggs, lol) and beverages as well. There was a movie playing while we ate and after breakfast, the kids could decorate cookies, color and enjoy the bounce house. The timing/time slots of the event was perfect. It was not crowded. We spent over 2 hours at this event because we were able to take our time and not be rushed. I initially thought pricing was a little high but considering the quality of food & activities, it was actually a perfect price point. If there was one thing I would change is the labeling of the desserts. I have a food allergy to strawberries and couldn’t tell what was strawberries vs. raspberry. But I expect that to be the case any place I go, nor did that sway my overall review. The event was well planned, organized and well executed. We hope to do this again next year!

Usually the rooms are dated and somewhat beaten up, you run into the employee who probably should pursue another line of work, etc. This stay exceeded our expectations. The property is approx 5 years old, but looks and feels like it was recently opened. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the lobby area was inviting to hang out in, so you don't feel you need to spend all evening in your room. They have really nice outdoor area with a pool, but we were there in late December so that was obviously closed. The bar and restaurant being open and integrated into the lobby area (along with a coffee station) ties the whole experience together. I have stayed in Doubletree hotels all over the country, and this is certainly worth a visit when you come to the Boerne area.
