We were visiting friends in the Mont Belvieu and chose this hotel mainly because it's set back from the main road, making it quieter than many properties along Garth Road.
Check-in was fine. Although I had already checked in via the app, I stopped by the front desk to pick up a physical key, which I usually do as a backup. As someone relatively new to Hilton Garden Inn, I asked whether any complimentary upgrades were available. The response I received, something about water in the room, was a bit confusing and didn't clearly address the question.
Later, when we left the room with recyclable bottles, I asked the same front desk staff member about recycling options. Again, the response was unclear and I was directed toward a water fountain, which didn't answer the question. I shared this experience with the general manager, Veronica, who was receptive and professional. She explained that the property does not have recycling options and said she would address this with management and also use the situation as a coaching opportunity to improve staff communication and customer engagement.
The room itself was fine and met expectations, with no major issues. It's also worth noting that the hotel does not have suites--only standard and accessible rooms so upgrades should not be expected, as confirmed by the general manager.
Overall, a decent stay, and I appreciate management's willingness to listen and improve. Hopefully, communication will be smoother on future visits.
We had an amazing stay at Hilton Garden Inn, and the service truly made the experience unforgettable. The employees are absolutely awesome and consistently go above and beyond. Special thank you to Diya, Kelly, Tisha, Latrice, Silva, Josephina, Maria, Danny, and Sandy—each of them made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. You can tell the management team truly values and appreciates their employees, and it shows in the exceptional service they provide. My family and I felt comfortable, respected, and at home the entire stay. This is hospitality at its best, and we will definitely be back!

Read great reviews especially about cleanliness and friendly staff. I am so happy to leave a GREAT one! Very clean, spacious (1king) amenities and wall mounted soap, lotion, hair and shower needs. All well stocked and lightly flagrant. Plenty of towels so neatly placed, shower, bedding, furniture very clean. Quiet and comfortable. Definitely a fantastic place to stay.
The only minor issue for me was the sign was not well lit and I first went to the Express hotel at the beginning of the road. I turned around and tried again and drove past it. Made u-turn and drove slowly and saw the sign. I’d recommend having the sign lit up at night. I almost gave up. 😉 Very glad I didn’t.

Celebrating Christmas in the hotel’s event halls was an exceptional experience and truly one of the highlights of our stay. Everything was impeccably organized, creating an elegant and welcoming atmosphere for such a special occasion.
The cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding at all times. The attention and professionalism shown by both the Kitchen staff and the Front Desk were excellent, ensuring that every detail was carefully managed and that guests felt well attended.

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. From the very beginning, the professionalism and dedication of the entire staff made my experience outstanding.
The Front Desk team was always attentive, efficient, and welcoming. The Housekeeping department maintained impeccable cleanliness and attention to detail throughout my stay, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant environment at all times. The Kitchen staff also deserves special recognition for their excellent service, quality, and care in every meal.
