This hotel is poorly managed and not close to any other Home2Suites I've stayed at previously

The room and property were very clean, which I always appreciate when traveling. Unfortunately, the continental breakfast was disappointing. The pancake-shaped eggs were unappealing, the bagels were rock hard, and overall there didn’t seem to be any care or pride in the offerings. After one look, we decided to skip breakfast at the hotel and eat at a local restaurant instead.
If cleanliness is your top priority, this hotel delivers. But if a good breakfast is important to you, you might want to plan on dining elsewhere.

This hotel is one of the older, well-established properties in the area, and you can tell by the exterior before even walking inside. That said, it’s still a decent place to stay overall.
I did lose the room I originally selected in the Hilton app because I chose not to use the virtual key, and I was assigned Room 316 instead. The room itself was acceptable, but I did experience a couple of issues that appeared to be the result of normal wear and tear over time.
First, the loveseat/small couch is in need of replacement. The cushions are completely worn down, causing you to sink much lower than normal when sitting, which makes it difficult to get back up. Additionally, the couch bed frame had a broken spring protruding between the cushion and armrest. I had to be careful so it wouldn’t snag my clothing.
The second issue involved the toilet. It would intermittently run water back into the bowl throughout my stay. I believe the seal inside the tank is worn. When it attempted to reseal, it produced a very loud squealing noise as the water slowly shut off. Unfortunately, this noise occurred during the night and woke me up, making it difficult to fall back asleep.
I did inform the front desk of both issues. However, I was told the maintenance technician would not be available until Monday. Hopefully, these items have since been addressed.

When we walked in there was a musty smell. It wasn't so bad that it was annoying. The bed however was nor what we asked for, we Queen bed and got a room with like a super single bed with a fold out couch. We were told that there was a Queen and that's all they had left, and that they could give us the linens for the couch and we could sleep there. ARE YOU FRIGGING KIDDING ME!?!
Have you ever slept on a couch bed!?!? I would rather sleep on a bed of Lava rock! It would be more comfortable. And for the price we paid?!?!
Unfreaking believable!!!
We will never stay at this establishment ever again! Even if every other option is unattainable. I will sleep in my car before throwing my hard earned money away at this Hilton owned/affiliated property!

Matthew at the front desk was very accommodating and told us about the area and all the sports activities that were going on. We were trying to figure out why everybody was sold out. Highly recommend Home2 and a great value for the money.
