Embassy is one of my favorite hotels to stay in. Although this particular location's breakfast area needs some serious renovations. I've been to the same location several times (work/personal). And I don't recall ever having/enjoying my meal here as compared to other Embassy hotels that I stay in. That being said, staff is ALWAYS helpful in accommodating all your needs.

Had a great stay. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. Idk about other rooms, but mine had several different pillows to choose from, which is good because I like a flatter pillow and most hotels only offer fluffy pillows. The bathrooms are a bit dated and on the smaller size, especially when you arr the size of the sitting area and thr bedroom, but i don't see that as an issue. The shower has great water pressure. Location is a tiny bit away from down town, but not to bad of an Uber ride. Breakfast is great and they have happy hour with snacks and discounted drinks. The elevators are a tiny bit slow and small, so be prepared for that. But overall, a great stay.

I just want to start off by saying i have never been so disrespected by a hotel staff. Me and my friend were staying here and I asked one of the staff members in the hall for fresh towels and she said in Spanish this stupid white lady thinking i couldn’t understand what she was saying. I guess i inconvenienced her by asking her to do her job. Her name is Wendy and i hope that embassy doesn’t stand by this kind of racism. I will NOT BE RETURNING.

When I tell you the combination of traffic, "shady" areas, and a general feeling of regret do not prepare you for this hotel, I am serious. I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel quite the opposite in the atmosphere. The hotel centers the rooms around the the open first floor lay out, where nearly every rooms front entrance has a veiw of. I resided on the 9th floor. However the personnel is where the I feel the Hotel shined most. Derek, the Hotel chef created one of the most well balanced meals I have had the pleasure of eating in America, and Tyler, one of the hotel assistants were among the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting in Austin,TX. I was a true pleasure to meet you both and hope you have wonderful lives. Side note, my vehicle was never broken into, but I found 3 dings on my passenger side doors and they were not present before I entered Austin, TX. The parking area may be "safe", but people are still careless.

Good for business travelers and families as well. This Austin location along I-35 is consistent with other Embassy Suites hotels. The main draw is the included breakfast. Parking was free. Not really a walkable area and there’s no decent view in any direction, but there are many restaurants nearby within easy driving distances. Driving near the hotel is not the easiest given the location is along a busy highway crossing another busy highway—you’ll likely have to do a few Texas u-turns (a handy feature of our highways and interstates). Rooms are clean; curtains are weird and need your attention to close them across the glass door for privacy. The in-room coffee machine was broken or sketchy in recent visits.
