The location and staff were very nice but during our stay here my children and I received over 25 bug bites. During the day the areas that were biten were covered and the only time exposed were while we were in the room and the bites started to appear after our first night here.
It is a shame as I usually have wonderful experiences at embassy suites, but this issue with the big bites seriously has me concerned.

I was surprised, and disappointed, by a daily self parking fee. I will be staying elsewhere on my monthly trips to Austin. Many other area hotels offer free self parking. The hotel itself, while a bit dated, was fine otherwise.

When booking seems like it fair price but oh surprise when I arrived and had to paid for parking. There is a QR code where you fill all your info and nowhere is a price of how much you gonna be paying g for parking, I had to ask the receptionist for the price.
The charge for parking is unjustified, there is not a gate , fence, cover parking or security, this is a regular hotel no near downtown or other amenities seems like a deceptive tactic to get more money.
Definitely a bad experience.

Breakfast is good. No hot water about 30-50% of the time. They say there is no way to avoid it and affects all the rooms. No where else to shower. Something about needing to turn a valve in the boiler room, idk. All i know is ive been taking cold water showers too many times before work (business travel). Wont be staying here again. Its too bad because otherwise the hotel is fine, but hot showers are a must. And im not taking scorching hot water like my wife’s showers, im talking even a little luke warm would have been nice but instead it was room temperature at best.
