Great location, but I can’t justify paying an additional $35/night for parking. Absolutely so ridiculous and greedy of Hilton to do this. I am extremely disappointed and will not stay here again. Note to Solomon, I MOVED my car elsewhere to avoid that ridiculous fee. Why would I make up false information? I registered my car to stay for a few hours which you said were free, but I ultimately moved my car somewhere else overnight. Your comment on this review is also not to change this reoccurring complaint whatsoever. My parents had the reservation with me include and my vehicle. Also, Solomon (or someone at the front desk) gave me the code to put in to temporarily park my car here. Very confused on how my vehicle was never here when I was given a code by one of your employees? This complaint is about paying a fee to park at a hotel, not your service.

Caught the Vonlane bus service Austin to Dallas and back. Great experience! My hat is off to Vonlane, a very first class bus company based in Dallas providing transportation to Austin and Houston. Impressive. Very impressive. Round-trip fare from Dallas to Austin is around 280. Definitely a first class experience. My diesel Ford would have costs in fuel and depreciation over 400. Classy driver and classy bus ground flight attendant. Zero complaints from me. A few minutes late leaving Austin but considering the U.T. game was starting within a quarter of a mile from our Doubletree departure point and we were only a few minutes off schedule; you know magic was involved! Great job Vonlane! Thank you. My limited research shows their annual revenues top 20 million.

My friend and I stayed in this hotel for a festival in November. As I was checking in, the staff member at the front desk, Ana, was IMMEDIATELY unfriendly. Something ended up happening on their end with our booking and she was so incredibly unhelpful. She was not even trying to help us find a solution to the issue that was THEIR FAULT. She then told me I couldn’t be checked into the room that I had already prepaid weeks in advance for. She told me that I had to figure out on my own what the issue was through the booking company that I booked the room from, instead of trying to at least help us walk through the issue. She was heinously rude and horribly unhelpful. Will absolutely NEVER stay here again. Rooms were meh for the price (pubic hair in the sink, stains on toilet, only working ice machine on 6th floor, and very noisy Saturday night folks, buses coming in at all hours of the night). Not worth it.

Great place to stay, easy on/off the freeway for either direction north or south. Place was clean, lots of shade trees for parking. Rooms were nice and the bed was comfortable. Staff were very nice. If I had one takeaway on an otherwise good experience, the fact that the only working ice machines are on the 6th floor and the dining area on the 1st floor, the other floor ice machines do not work. Otherwise, All was good.

Room was nice unfortunately my truck was burglarized overnight which was parked a few feet from the main entrance. Staff said there was no camera footage available to view the parking area, plus your charged $35 for parking which you think it would be a safe place to park, evidently they need more lights and cameras to deter crime or at least to see a suspect if a crime was committed in the parking lot, they were more concerned if I was going to file a police report, luckily nothing major was stolen like the whole truck.
