I booked the room for my wedding night and the night after. I was hoping to have a romantic little escape but it was lackluster at best. When my new wife and I arrived, still in our wedding dresses, the woman who checked us in did not even look at us once. No greeting, nothing. I don’t know whether she’s homophobic or was just having a bad day, but in any case, she was rude. The bed was uncomfortable, the AC was loud, and the mini fridge didn’t work. The only bright spot was breakfast, and our server was just lovely. I cannot remember her name but she was so sweet, and gave us a tin of cookies when we mentioned we were newlyweds. For the money we spent we should have had a much better experience, and I can’t recommend this place. I really wish we’d used our money for an extra 2 days on our actual honeymoon.

Clean and nice - has all the essentials. Service overall could be better. The website states it has a complimentary breakfast - but does not. The food at the restaurant has been good.

The food customer service was poor, got my order wrong each time. Although morning food customer service was more polite. Parking garage entry is nonfunctional.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable — I slept like a baby! The amenities were top-notch, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the service was fast and friendly. It’s the kind of place that really makes you feel at home while still giving you that special vacation feeling. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

This place is a little run down and didn't get much service during my stay. Had to pick up replacement coffee and cups on day two. The room was completely refreshed but for some reason they didn't replenish that stuff for the next morning coffee. Toilet seat looks like it was painted by the maintenance staff. Bumpy and visually looked funny. There were opportunities to do some simple maintenance in the room to make it look more polished and up to date. Location's not bad, especially if you have a car. But even without there is a pappadeaux and pappasito's on either side of the hotel you can walk to. There was some interesting art in the hallways and also in the room. One of the things that I think will freak out. People outside of Texas was a silhouette of an armadillo. I knew what it was but anybody else would think it was a black rat. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. That was really my only interaction with any staff and it was positive.
