  One night to see a show at convention center. It was an anniversary celebration. Had flowers delivered to the room and hotel staff added a hand written note wishing Happy Anniversary as well. Very nice accommodations.

  I couldn’t have been more impressed with my stay at the DoubleTree in Abilene. From the moment I walked through the doors, the staff made me feel welcome and taken care of. Every interaction was warm, professional, and genuinely friendly. My room was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was perfect, the linens felt fresh and crisp, and the entire space was thoughtfully laid out. I especially appreciated how quiet the room was. I slept better than I have in weeks! The hotel itself is beautiful and feels upscale without being pretentious. The lobby and shared areas are stylish, and everything is impeccably maintained. Location-wise, it’s perfect. Easy parking, walkable to nearby spots, and convenient for getting around town. Overall, this DoubleTree exceeded every expectation. I’ll absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in Abilene and will be recommending it to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and high-quality hotel experience. Highly, highly recommend!

  The rooms were awesome. Fully stocked kitchenette so if you wanted to cook in, you could. The in room ice maker was noisy but really handy. We were staying there while attending a conference and it was only a 10 minute drive to the conference location. It was also no more than a 15 minute drive to anywhere we wanted to go. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. I would definitely stay there again.

  My wife and I stopped in on 10/31 to turn in our voting card for the Signature Cocktail Showdown. For these competitions I like to turn my card into the place I am voting for. We sat at the bar and were ignore by Rob for over 10 minutes while there was only one other patron. When he finally asked for our order, I told him I’d like the signature drink and to turn in my card. I tried to hand it to him, and he wouldn’t take it. He said “can you turn that in here? No one else has.” He walked over to where the liquor for the signature drink is and held it up to show me it was almost empty and said he couldn’t make me one. At this point the female working (Caitlyn I think?) stepped in and said she could absolutely make it for me. I’m thankful for her and she gave us a pleasant experience but the next time we go if Rob is working we’ll be walking right back out. He was horribly rude for absolutely no reason, and doesn’t even know the rules for the competition that his place of employment is participating?

  Well, I may have gone overboard with the 5 stars all across the board but I really really had a great experience at this hotel. Lobby was well kept, conference rooms were great, room was spacious and clean. I didnt get a chance to visit the steakhouse in the hotel but I didnt get very good feedback from the people who went. They complained about the quality of food and their hours of operation. Again this is second hand info. I did experience having to chug a cup of coffee cause they were closing the breakfast hour and kinda rushed me out. That's about it. Aside that the customer service was excellent. I gotta thank Samantha for representing the hotel in the best possible way. Super helpful, no nonsense, no excuses just results. Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting her on the hook to fix everyone's issues but the problem I had checking in was resolved in a heartbeat. The hotel did a good job of checking in on me regularly to make sure I didn't have any issues with my stay. The location and view for me was pretty good as well. Right in the heart of sleepy Abilene. Just enough traffic to walk around comfortably and not get honked at or run over. I had never been to Abilene before but I will definitely be back if I get the opportunity and I know where I'm staying. I thought it was really cool that the TV had my name also...I guess I'm easily amused.....
