First the positives..
The breakfast was THE BEST BREAKFAST OF ANY HOTEL ON EARTH!! We travel all over because for pleasure, and especially for hockey tournaments, and the breakfast here was absolutely sensational!! Marcia, our server treated us and our entire team like family every morning we were there. She refilled our water, coffee, juice every moment and had incredible conversation the entire time. What a special person and a special employee!!! The food... SENSATIONAL!! From the healthy greek yogurt bowl my healthy wife got, to the not as health but far more delicious chipotle aioli and aged cheddar breakfast sandwich I got on an artisan bread that was toasted to perfection, to the three egg omelet that would make a Parisian chef blush. I can't express how stunningly great our breakfast experience was after so, so many bad hotel breakfasts.
Another amazing thing was that after a day of hockey games, the pool was officially closed... BUT the staff saw that our team was dying to play in the pool, so they opened it up for us the team to have an amazing time in the pool even though they didn't have to at all!!
And ANOTHER amazing thing was that the last night after our games, we ordered a bunch of pizzas from a local pizzeria, and we had no plates. The staff at the hotel brought our thirty plates for us to use for the night, and cleaned them afterwards as well. That is next level service and care!!
Our room was clean, quiet and comfy, nothing special, but most importantly... nothing bad!!
Now the meh
While the room was fine, our tv didn't get any channels, I called the front desk several times to no answer, then I went down to the desk, and waited thirty minutes for someone to come to the front desk, and they were less than helpful. In another occasion, I went down to ask for a couple more towels, the front desk person said she'd have to ask the maintenance manager about that, but it didn't seem likely. And no, we didn't get a couple extra towels.
If the rest of the hotel had the same attitude of the kitchen staff, this can be an all time hotel! We would stay again in the future, but the front desk staff certainly give us pause.

We had an amazing experience at the Hilton Garden Inn in Nashville Smyrna. The hotel was very clean, modern, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Everything felt fresh and well taken care of, which made our stay super comfortable.
The pool area and especially the hot tub were excellent and a perfect way to relax after a long day! The location was great too, close to everything we needed and ideal for our business trip.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you to the entire team at Hilton Garden Inn Nashville Smyrna for the outstanding hospitality. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Retired football player behind the desk. Real short attitude. Wake up call? We don't do that anymore. You have to pay for wifi, bottles of water in your room, pay for your breakfast. No store sticks, sweetener or cream for your one pod of coffee. 64 yrs old 4th floor last room on the end. Very comfortable bed

This hotel is not what it used to be. My husband and I have stayed here previously but this time, it was very different and not for the best. This place has evolved into a dump! We ate at the bar and when we asked about plates, we were told we had to eat out of the brown boxes they provided because they don't have plates. We noticed that our bathroom didn't have soap and when you ask at the front desk, they pull out a drawer full of soap, lotion, or body wash because I guess housekeeping doesn't replenish the bottles as they should be doing. When we checked out, the staff person who handled that for us appeared to be in pajamas. The overall vibe of this hotel is not great and that's a shame because it was really nice at one point. We were told that the former owner experienced a bankruptcy so maybe that's the reason. This property shouldn't have the Hilton name associated with it if they aren't going to maintain it well. The only good thing about this hotel is its location.
