Under Canvas was a last minute choice for a Father Sons (in their 20's) excursion. We were pleasantly surprised. The location, staff and facilities were all top notch. The entire site is kept in spotless condition from the public spaces and paths to the tents and their facilities. Food service is excellent with staff that are eager to meet your requests. Entertainment in the evenings was fun for adults and kids alike. It is truly an atmosphere that promotes family time and bonding as well as a good place for friends to gather. The staff was very helpful in directing us in the right direction for things and places to see and how to get there. This is really a great place to disconnect as well. If you plan on trying to work while your here... Don't bother you will have neither phone service or internet and frankly I loved it. A five mile car ride out of camp and you can find that if you need to. It was nice to see a place with kid coloring, painting and playing bingo and board games rather than heads in phones and tablets. Smiles were abound and even the Canine guests were having fun. It was a pleasure to be around such a gracious and helpful staff all looking to make the experience the best possible and we look forward to trying out Under Canvas' other locations as well. Five Star. A must try!!!

This is such a great experience for families! Especially ones like mine, that love the outdoors but not camping. You will not be disappointed. The company and the staff really work hard to accommodate all of your needs.

We had one night there, it was good experience before we went to bed. But it was absolutely awful experience the whole night. Our tent is right by the lobby and restroom, this the worst part, at 11:30 pm, we can hear all sorts of noise that make us can’t sleep, the people in lobby were so loud at 11:30 pm playing games, and we constantly hear everyone went to the restroom the whole night, our tent is so close that we can hear every step when they were walking. And the last part was the smoke detectors, we constantly hear noise of smoke detectors of other tents

This was a really cool glamp site! Nice tent, comfortable bed. Nice warm blankets and a wood burning stove to stay warm. We went end of November and got lucky with the weather, not too cold overnight. They have good food at the glamp site but overpriced for what you get. They have plenty of showers available. They had open area for kids to play, fire pits, horse shoe pit, etc. They did have some activities, we had bingo and live music going on the nights we were there. Close to gatlinburg if you want to check that out. Close to smokey mountain national Park for scenic drives, hikes etc. Overall would recommend for a way to unplug for the normal day to day and have a relaxed trip.
