- OOOliviaNov 13, 20253.0I recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for business. Check in seemed to go smoothly however when I arrived to my hotel room, I immediately noticed a foul smell, sort of like urine which I initially attributed to the bathroom. When I went further, I noticed bugs on the ceiling in the corners as well as the fact that the walls were dirty (some sort of yellow drippings). I expressed my concern regarding the bugs and at that point I was notified that the hotel has a lady bug problem. The clerk at the front desk was kind enough to vacuum the bugs and spray the windows, but I was still extremely uncomfortable with staying in such an unpleasant room and knew I would not be able to rest well. I couldn’t get a refund since it was same day, so she agreed to give me a new room (after I asked) that was 1000x better. It smelled good, no bugs, and the TV displayed a personalized message welcoming me. The rest of my stay was fine (I did have to sleep with ear buds one night due to the traffic but it wasn’t a deal breaker). That room is the only reason the hotel got any stars at all. I just don’t understand why I wasn’t offered a descent room to begin with :/
