The reason for my 3 star rating lies within the breakfast buffet, or rather lack thereof. The buffet is set up strange. I travel often, and usually opt to stay at Hampton inn and suites for the breakfast buffet. This one did not cut the mustard. The only hot food they had to offer in chafer pans, was half a pan of bacon. The multi-faceted bread box was empty, with the exception of one drawer full of multigrain toast. No bagels, English muffins, white bread, raisin bread. Wheat bread, only. Moving on, the buffet was equipped with 3 kinds of cereal, however, no milk in the building. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure only toddlers eat cereal without milk. There was no sign on the gargantuan milk dispenser indicating it was empty, either. The coffee was bland and almost translucent. The waffle irons were set up, but no butter or pan spray in sight, so peeling our hot waffles off of the iron ripped them in half. After looking for butter for about 2 minutes too long, I found it on the other side of the kitchen by the empty milk machine. As much as these hotels claim the breakfast buffet is ‘complimentary’, I happen to know that nothing in life is actually free, and I expect a portion of my room fee to go towards a better breakfast buffet.

Parking lot was well lit and far enough away from the freeway to cut out the noise but close enough to jump back on and hit the road again. Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
