After driving 9 hours to get here for a funeral service for a family member, day one, we realized we had zero control of the climate in our room. We were there for 3 nights, with two children under 4 who had fevers and we couldn't get the room below 77° at night to go to sleep. I made management aware every single day we were there. In total, the sent three different maintenance men to our room, they all agreed it was broken. The day if the service (because we knew we would all be vacant from the room) they told me they'd be there at 12 noon to fix the issue, no problem. We got back from the service just to find that NOBODY had been there to fix the issue. My wife, myself and neither of our two sick children got any meaningful sleep here at all during our stay due to blatant negligence of their facilities, especially with two fevered children. They straight up lied to me on multiple occasions. To "remedy" the situation, they offered me free parking for the 3 nights/4days. Which I reluctantly agreed to, only to find out 3 days later, they never refunded. The mattress was manufactured in 2007, the carpet looked like an early 90's casino and I was flat out lied to multiple times by the managers/front desk workers the entire time I was there. I was recommended by family who live in Murfreesboro to stay off of the medical parkway, I guarantee it will never be at this particular hotel ever again.

Stayed here this past weekend for a dance competition. From the outside, the hotel looks nice, but inside it feels quite dated. Almost all the luggage carts had flat tires, which made them very difficult to push—especially on carpet with heavy bags. The elevators were also very slow, which can be frustrating when the hotel is hosting large events. Throughout the conference area and even on my floor, there was tape holding carpet seams down (I actually tripped over one). My room itself just didn’t feel clean. The toilet barely flushed, and the shower head only sputtered water. The carpet looked dirty, and the furniture—especially the couch and chair—had visible holes. When I checked the pull-out sofa, I found trash under the cushions. The beds were also extremely soft (a personal preference issue), but more concerning was that they seemed to be full-size rather than the advertised queen size. Overall, I expected much better maintenance and cleanliness from an Embassy Suites. The staff we encountered were polite, but the property itself needs serious updates and attention to detail.

If you like overpaying for a subpar overpriced and tired hotel this is your place. If not keep looking. It’s a run down team hotel that operates in a you “don’t deserve anything” fashion. Checked in at 9:30 and requested extra towels for the 5 of us to shower. Only had 2 in the room. Was told at 10:30 they had to wash some and it would be a little while. Are you kidding me! Hotels are meant to offer certain amenities and a shower with a towel is one of them. Beds are u shaped like hammocks, the carpets are worn and even have duct tape on them in the main halls and the sofa in the room no longer has its proper form to it. I’m done with Embassy Suites!

Upon arriving at the hotel we were told that there was an additional $14 parking fee. Keep in mind this is an open parking lot. Room smelled stale and towels had a smoke smell to them. Lots of outside noise from the highway and interstate. After checking out we received an updated receipt with an additional charge. Still waiting for a member of management to contact us regarding the issue. Shower heads were horrible. Sprayed water everywhere but where it should. Water pressure was horrible. HVAC system is not good. Dust on the HVAC return vent. Had to plug up the HDMI cable for the TV in the living room to work and had to plug up the power cord for the TV in the bedroom to work. This was a premium suite that wasn't very premium. Are the rooms not inspected before a guest arrives? Obviously not.

We checked in on Black Friday. When we got there they charged are card another 100 dollars for “other expenses” mind you we paid 350dollars for two nights. 2 people no pets. When we checked in we were given a card that went to a room on a different floor. That was fun when they figured that out we were but in a room that was hot and the air was broken. I turned the ac to cool and the room heated up. We complained and was given a room with no water and no cool air either. We tried to leave with a refund and they wouldn’t do that because we used Hotels.com and it was against their policy. They gave us a 50 dollar gift card to the little bar/grill. On thanksgiving weekend who eats bar snacks. Late the first night after several hours later the water came back one. The air started working but could not keep the room cool even thought it was very cold outside. The fan in the room sounded like it was about to bust through the wall. All in all it was not worth 350$ it was a very unpleasant weekend the room was also out dated and you could tell the bathroom was flooded out because the bottom of the wood was rotten and the tile was coming up. That was gross. When we left I asked for my hundred dollars back and they charged me 28 bucks to park there …. Yea. They said parking was competitive yet we had to put a parking card in our windshield. The Lott was never even half full either night. I would not recommend staying here at all it was not worth the money and they have excuses for everything to not give you your hard earned money back when it’s clearly their fault.
