- EREd RobertsonDec 25, 20251.0Went down at 7:30 this morning to grab a cup of coffee. Both urns of coffee, labeled dark and light were empty. I pointed it out to the 2 clerks who were sitting behind the desk playing with their computers and they replied that they were real busy. Very insolently, one of them said, “they’re both the same”. I replied that they were both empty. I haven’t stayed in a Hilton property for many years. Became a very happy Marriott customer. When I checked in the other night, my Hilton Honors number didn’t work, so the very nice clerk tried to get me resigned up. When I tried to sign up with the HH number that was emailed to me, it didn’t work, so the next morning, I mentioned it to the clerk, she said the clerk the previous night didn’t know what he was doing … that the only way to sign up was to contact HH by phone. Won’t be necessary, as I will use Days Inn the next time I find myself in Martin TN since there isn’t a Marriott. Will probably never stay at a Hilton again.
