The place is clean, no strange smells at least in our room. I have some notes. For people staying longer, who might bring dishes but take an economic approach and get a basic single room, the only option in ours was the bathroom sink with a faucet so low it's even a little annoying to wash your hands, especially dishes. They definitely need taller faucets. Another detail, new DND signs would be great. Every time I opened the door i had to pick up to sign. It's just annoying. Maybe rubber on the existing signs would be enough. Not a huge endeavor. A very annoying things was that the housekeeper had her phone on full blast while going to rooms, that woke us both. That's absolutely a vibrate sort of situation. They also knocked with the DND sign on the door. Come on man. Last note, in our room, when I turned the fan or AC on high, the fan would rattle. Also very annoying. (Room 209 if you're reading, Mr Hampton)
The coffee is surprisingly decent. I didn't have breakfast because there's a Pal's right next door. It's a hotel breakfast. Nothing special but I heard good things while doing my morning reading in the lobby.
Altogether a pretty comfortable a6bd clean stay despite the details. A little expensive but if you've seen the other options around Kingsport, it's a pretty solid spot. Also Christmas, so if they didn't hike the price a little, it would just be weird. That's business.

By far one of the most accommodating hotels. The staff was awesome and welcoming. They have breakfast out 6am to 10am. They still leave the cereal and snacks out. Also for the early 3am folk they have a to go snack bag. So amazing would stay again

I come and stay here every year for the holidays, and the service is always amazing. I just called to adjust my room reservation and Trina (I’m so sorry if I misspelled) assisted me with excellent customer service and kindness in her voice. Will control return here
