    I’ve always loved Homewood Suites but this one is managed very poorly. Room: Broken items in room, dirty towels in drawers, other than that typical well designed rooms and comfortable beds. Service: Don’t bother checking in via app to select your room, they changed it to completely different floor and location and had no explanation as to why. We’ve always been offered water and snack as gold members, here there was nothing. Desk clerk said we could have water but would have to wait since he would need to go get some. Actually made us feel guilty for even asking. Breakfast: normally great left much to be desired at this location. No pancake or waffle options, eggs and sausage were empty when we went down 1 hour before breakfast ended and were told eggs would be replenished but sausage would not because it takes 45min to prepare. It wasn’t very busy, no reason to not plan properly and it doesn’t take 45min for microwave sausage. Coffee was basically hot water. Very disappointing stay.

    I did digital check in night before. Got a text next day welcoming us but no communication about elevators being out and we had 3rd floor room. We arrived at 1am and lady asked did anyone tell us elevators are out. No. Then they couldn't give us lower room because they gave all those out to other guests already due to elevator being out. I have a heart issue and had to walk up three flights stairs because No communication prior also there were no rooms anywhere else available locally due to time. I paid for a late checkout of 2pm and at 11am housekeeping was banging repeatedly on door waking me up and giving me attitude and even after stating I PAID for late checkout got attitude. Then front desk called up not to apologize to explain why they messed up and how it was girl night before so I said I don't give a damn and hung up. Then front desk sent me a text stating they understand frustration but I didn't have to be rude. You banged on my door repeatedly until I answered then called up to tell me how it wasn't your fault. I was a nice as I could have been in that circumstance. Then when I said instead of trying to make amends they called me rude. They then offered 10,000 points supposedly but they never appeared on my account, so they also lied. I spoke with a different hilton property and they said the screen tells them right there I paid for 2pm checkout and even in my app it showed 2pm checkout with my digital key. So they lied about not knowing I paid for late checkout then lied about giving me 10,000 points for my inconvenience of having someone repeatedly bang on my door 3 hours before my paid late checkout until I answered. Then was called rude. This doesn't include that two plugs in the room didn't work on a new building, the thermostat was already acting up and shutting off on its own, no water pressure in shower, the sink faucet is placed so close to the edge that you bang your hands trying to wash hands in bathroom. Since elevator was out you had to literally go outside the building to get to the stairs into the weather because there is no access to stairs inside the building. They could have had a regular customer I drive that route on a regular basis and normally stay at fairfield down the road but given I'm an avid hilton user I decided try new property and if it worked out they become our new stop along way especially even more convenient for our route. But instead This became an example how just because it is new doesn't mean it will be a good experience. Oh and I kept hearing how the staff was new and didn't know. So also untrained staff that just gives excuses. The beds weren't comfortable either, definitely not on par with other hilton properties we've stayed. I gave two stars because the room was clean, the towels etc were clean and proper number and the room decor and layout was okay. But everything else made it a very very bad experience. Actually it ranks up as one of my more bad experiences with hilton brand normally hilton experience is good and things are accommodated when gone wrong not so here. It may be new but it isn't shiny.

    Nice hotel right off I-40 with great rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast includes tacos and the overall quality is very good. Pet friendly ❤️

    Hotel really nice and roomy Visit friend from out of town who was staying there. Staff polite. Lounging area nice atmosphere

    The hotel is brand new and unless they are able to find people who are able to keep the rooms clean and take care of it, it won't be that way long.. The staff were kind and the hotel is beautiful. But we walked into our room and there was blood, dirt, lots of hair, and a used towel on the bathroom floor. Clearly was not cleaned. Based on other reviews too, their housekeeping staff needs either more training or new employees. Such a sad experience for such a beautiful brand new hotel!
