    I couldn't recommend my friends or family to stay here. Booked a room while, confirmed with Amber over the phone on that morning and they were great. Check-in is 4pm but the room is not ready and we are told 30-60 additional minutes by the attendant due to a shortage of housekeeping staff. We asked about options for sister hotels, other rooms, ect... and was told our options were to wait or cancel the reservation. After sitting in the hot and dusty lobby, the attendant approached to offer us water and inform us there may be a floor level room in 25 minutes. This was a good customer service move and I appreciate the thoughtfulness. By this point we had experienced issues with the women's restroom soap dispenser and noted several large bugs atop the inside lobby curtains. As a guest, cleanliness is a non-negotiable for hotels. With our confidence shaken in the Hampton Inn, we canceled our reservation. I doubt we will book with them again at any location, there are too many hospitality providers in Madison County that get this right.

    The staff here is excellent and is the reason why I put 2 stars!!!! The rooms however are dirty, and I mean like gross dirty and in many areas in need of repair. The carpet in the hall ways can cause concerns for tripping. And the room has the look of bad rental repairs, or just things broken in general.you can literally see the dirt and grime in the furniture and all over the wall. Room also smells like mildew.....
