The bathroom had “hair” still on the floor and toilet letting me know this was not cleaned after last guest:-( , lastly the breakfast was the worst I have ever seen and was not worth even considering so ended up at Bob Evens! Location is 25 minutes from Rock City & Ruby Falls - I gave it a 2 Star because the people were nice and the terrible hotel location pick was my error.

But like other reviews the outside noise was hard to deal with at night, and the breakfast wasn't great (so don't book simple for the free breakfast amenity).

They were courteous, friendly and helpful with questions. The room we got was room 219. AVOID AT ALL COST!!! We were located next to the elevator for two nights. People getting on and off the elevator kept us awake. The AC/heating unit sounded like the fan was going to fly apart every time it kicked in. I finally turned it off. I didn't know if the construction was different at this facility but we heard conversations from the adjacent room and hallway until late at night. Other Tru by Hilton places didn't seem to have this issue.

The beds are cheap mattresses on plank board, the pillows and sheets are thin poor quality, walls are so thin you hear everything and the ac/heat fan is noisy. The only redeeming quality of this place is Tim and his staff. Absolutely unacceptable that a major brand like Hilton would offer such a low end hotel. I guess Tru stands for Truely cheap.
