Our downtown hotel is steps from the Creative Discovery Museum. The Tennessee Aquarium is within walking distance. Ross’s Landing on the riverfront and the University of Tennessee Chattanooga are under one mile away. Every area was convenient and staff was knowledgeable and very friendly! The free breakfast is a plus, evening reception with 2 free drinks per night, indoor pool, but parking is 15$ for self parking a block away. This location is near the aquarium $40, ruby falls $29, Glen falls for hiking free, Tony's Italian restaurant, rock climbing indoors, movie theater just 1 block away and the Tennessee River. For weekend night socializing drive to the "Station street", it has bars and restaurants 👌

I can not say enough good things about this Hotel and the staff. From the Valet, the front desk, the bartenders, to the GM Brendon Meers. Everyone was welcoming, kind and always ready to help or give some recommendations of where to eat, etc. Its not often that you go to a hotel then see the GM the next day and he greets you by name! That is something! The breakfast was great, the view from the terrace was great, and the location was perfect! You could walk to just about anywhere you needed or wanted to go! Ieuan was the lucky one to check us in and out and he was an absolute gem! This will be my forever Chattanooga hotel from now on! Thank you Brendon and staff for making our girls trip even more fantastic.

Nice new hotel.
Room was nice but the couch while it looks nice is trash!
I wish the person that decided to put this couch in rooms could be forced to sit on one and watch a 3 hour movie.
Who in there right mind would put a couch with a 12" backrest on it.
We like to venture out and see the sights during the day and relax in are room during the evening. Not possible on a couch like that.
Check in a little bit before 4 pm and are room wasn't ready until 5:30.
Mind you we had one of the most expensive rooms (Corner Suite) but are room could not be ready by the 4 pm check in.
Room was clean and cleaned up each day but they never washed the two glass even once in 4 days.
We would have but had nothing to clean them with.
Lastly It was a challenge to get ice.
The ice maker was in a locked room on the 7th floor and are room key would not open it. We called the front desk to find out where we could get ice and they said by the pool elevator on the 6th floor. Walked the hole floor and could not find ice maker. Ended up going to the bar.
Love Hilton and a Hilton Grand Vacation Club member but it would be a good thing if they worked on fixing some of the bugs out of this beautiful property and replace all couches company wide with 1' tall back rests.
THEY KILL YOUR BACK!

Great group travel experience at this Embassy Suites! They had all the room keys sorted and ready for us in advance, which made check-in a breeze.
The rooms themselves were very clean and nice, and the staff was very polite and friendly throughout our whole stay.
Above and beyond: we were able to rent one of the meeting spaces at last minute notice to do a movie night for our group and they got things ready for us and even set up a popcorn maker! We would love to stay at this Embassy Suites again.

Though Embassy Suites isn’t necessarily designed for families with young kids, we’ve always loved their standard offerings as a family of four. This location stands out for its unbeatable walkability... right across from the kids’ museum and just a block from the aquarium, riverfront, and playground. The area is easy to navigate with a stroller and full of family-friendly attractions.
As parents, we really appreciate the evening reception and breakfast. The breakfast selection kept everyone happy (we especially enjoyed the terrace seating). My husband loved the made-to-order omelets, and my son loved the waffle station. The evening reception (5–6:30 PM) offered a nice mix of hors d'oeuvres and kid-friendly snacks like Chex mix and trail mix, plus two complimentary drink tokens per adult per night (more than we needed or used, but an appreciated bonus).
The two-room suites are a must with young kids. We always pick ES for that reason. This suite’s layout was a bit tighter than others we’ve stayed in, but still met our needs. The only inconvenience was the lack of self-parking. We parked in the nearby public garage, which felt safe and was a quick, easy walk. I've walked further for onsite parking before so this wasn't a deterrent. I recommend arriving before 4 PM on weekends to avoid the short valet lane rush (can only accommodate 4-5 vehicles).
We also enjoyed the indoor pool, which was great for kids with its shallow play area, water feature, and large onsite bathrooms. The only downside was the very slick poolside tiling... use caution when wet.
Overall, we loved our stay and would gladly return. This location made family travel easy and fun. We may even make it an annual trip!
