The Hampton Inn Caryville-I-75/Cove Lake-State Park hotel is located off Tennessee Interstate 75 at Exit 134, across from Cove Lake State Park, nestled in the Cumberland Mountains. Our hotel is located six miles from the Col. Tom C. Steiner Airport, ten miles from the Appalachian Museum, Norris Lake and its many marinas. The Cove Lake State Park Restaurant, Shoney's and Waffle House are all within a half mile of our hotel in Caryville, Tennessee. We're conveniently located near several universities, the University of Tennessee, the University of the Cumberlands, and Lincoln Memorial University. Several area attractions include Dollywood and the Great Smoky Mountains.
The Hampton Inn Caryville hotel features 62 rooms, including balcony rooms with a lake/mountain view, as well as rooms with a whirlpool bathtub and fireplace. They also helped accommodate our family, since we had a baby they provided a playpen! If we ever go down to TN again, we will definitely stay again.

Our housekeeper was Janet I believe, and she was awesome. She was so welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. The breakfast was great, it actually had flavor. We were very impressed. In the evening they provided fresh baked cookies. The were still soft and warm when I got mine. Each room had its own balcony and with the views we had it was perfection. We will be back. Only one complaint. We had zero wifi both days. They were trying to get the wifi resolved but unfortunately it wasn't fixed by our checkout. My husband will just have to finish up on work when we get home.

The view from my room (with patio) and from chairs/table in the parking lot where I enjoyed my breakfast was what I was hoping for traveling in this area in the fall. The trees, mountains, and lake were a great bonus to this stay. Room was nice, clean, no offensive smells. Staff polite and helpful. Got some new birds in my Merlin app!
