  This is a newer Tru with the brand’s usual layout. The hotel was clean, quiet, and conveniently close to restaurants and stores at The Pinnacle shopping area about a mile and a half away. The well lit parking area is entirely in front of the hotel. The location sets back a little from the highway and I didn’t notice much traffic noise. The quietest location would be on the backside of the hotel which faces a steep wooded hill with nothing but nature there. I would readily choose this hotel again on a future trip.

  The hotel was super clean and tidy and the room was very nice. It seemed like there were a variety of board games and things to do available in the lobby. The only drawback is our room was a little small, totally fine if you're just sleeping there but a ton of space if you plan to hang out in the hotel room (there is plenty of hangouts space in the lobby if you don't mind being around other people).

  My family stayed here while on a road trip and it worked perfectly for us. My kids enjoyed the lobby with pool table and board games. Breakfast was pretty basic but enough variety to make everyone happy. The room was small. It would be hard to find a spot for more than one standard suitcase. We had several smaller bags so it worked fine. The ceilings in the room were very high and the floors are vinyl, not carpet, so I felt like it was noisier than average, which wasn’t a problem for us per se but we were the family with kids so I’m guessing other rooms could hear us at times (sorry!) Pet friendly made this place perfect for us. I would definitely stay here again.

  Pros: Clean. Lots of parking. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Cons: Noisy. Very small Rooms. This is my 1st time ever staying at a Tru, and it will probably be my last. Everything wrong with my stay was simply how the hotel is built. Room Size: We stayed in a room with a King bed. The bed was really too big for the room. There was nowhere to put our luggage without it being in the way. The room would probably be perfect for someone traveling with a small bag. Noise: The walls seem very thin. There was constant noise coming from the the interstate. Also, the noise coming from the other rooms was loud enough to wake us several times. The people were not being loud, it was just normal noise that you usually do not here from your neighbors, like when they close the fridge. You can stop reading here unless you want to see why I didn't get bacon. Side note that really doesn't matter: Breakfast was what you normally expect from Tru/Hampton/etc. My wife and I always stay at Hilton hotels and we joke every time we go to breakfast if today is the day that they have bacon. We have seen turkey sausage probably the last 20 stays. While getting our breakfast we overheard the person over the breakfast mention that they did not cook bacon because it goes to fast.... For real LMAO. I would rather look at an empty bacon bin than one full of sausage any day. Give the people what they want! Otherwise, breakfast was still good.

  I’ve stayed at many hotels over the years, and this one truly exceeded expectations. The staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, and the entire property was exceptionally clean. I routinely do a quick spot check in every room I stay in, and this hotel genuinely impressed me. The floors were spotless, the bed linens were bright white and neatly presented, and the bathroom was immaculate. The shower glass and mirror were crystal clear, the showerhead showed no buildup at all, and even the tile grout was clean—something that’s often overlooked. To top it off, the experience felt personalized with my name displayed on the TV upon arrival. This has easily been the best hotel stay I’ve had, and I will absolutely be returning next year.
