This hotel is run down and not kept clean. There was visible blood stains on the curtains in our room. We had no shower curtain in our bathroom and had to call front desk for one. The carpets are dirty and ripped up. My mother in-law nearly got electrocuted by the hair dryer. Lastly, the bathroom on the main floor had no running water and no soap. Definitely won’t be staying here again and i expected more from a Hampton Inn.

Stayed there recently on a business trip, there was no wi-fi for 3 days. Had to switch rooms due to loud noises coming from within the bathroom walls, heater was very loud in the second room. The carpet is loose in the halls, a safety hazard especially for elderly people. Breakfast was barely average, hotel is rundown and staff seemed to be clueless. Better options on the same street for next time.

Our recent stay at the Hampton Inn Regina East Gate was unfortunately not as enjoyable or comfortable as we expected from a Hilton-branded property. The room felt quite run down. The curtains were coming apart, one had what appeared to be an iron burn mark, and the wallpaper and walls showed significant wear. The toilet seat would not stay in place unless held by hand, which was very inconvenient. The bedding was also uncomfortable; the comforter fabric felt worn and the textured pattern made it difficult to sleep well. More concerning, we found a cockroach in our room on the second night, which was very unpleasant and unexpected. Additionally, the early mornings were consistently noisy due to cleaning activities in the hallway and on the floor above. This woke us earlier than we would have liked and affected our rest. Overall, the stay fell short of the quality and comfort we associate with Hampton Inn and the Hilton brand. We hope management addresses these issues, as the property appears to be in need of significant updates and improved attention to maintenance.

They will not allow you to talk to the manager when there is a concern. We were told we would get a partial refund due to a noise complaint we made at midnight over the weekend. They had us pay full price at check out but told us we would get a call back to refund us part of our money. Never heard back, had to call them, each time getting the run around. We were told the manager would call us several times (they never did) every time we called the next day (like they keep telling us to do for 3 days straight) to speak to the manager, the manager is suddenly busy or just left. They are now putting us on hold and leaving us on hold when we call back. Update: My husband just received a threat from the front desk after the clerk swore at him. He got accused of being a racist because he said "I cannot understand you sir" because he couldn't understand that one worker in particular. Now they are using this as an excuse not to speak to him. Avoid this hotel. They will not stick to their word or policy and the hall carpet is lifting which is a tripping hazard. And they make threats if you do what they say to do which is call to speak to the manager then accuse you of being a racist even though we are the furthest thing from racists. Update: their head office is useless also. My husband called and explained the situation including the fact he was threatened. The person on the line believed the lies of the employees who claimed the situation was handled in 10 mins. Did nothing, did not care. It is not like we were after a free room, only what was promised to us for the disturbance. Partial refund.

I recently stayed at this location for four nights for business. I only stayed at Hilton properties and primarily Hampton Inn for work aside from the very friendly staff, the rest of the hotel for the most part is not at all up to Hilton standards. To start The elevators need some serious maintenance and overhaul from function to pure cosmetic. These elevators have seen better days. The carpet on the fourth floor is absolutely atrocious. It’s tearing and all buckled outside of the elevators, which is a trip hazard and down the halls as well. Many of the doors are scratched up in the hallways are marked up. Minor issue with the toilet in my room which they did fix the carpets have definitely not been cleaned, and I don’t know how long walking around in White Sox was a big mistake. The shades in my room had stains on them which look like coffee stain or something. The bedding was clean pillows were in good condition and clean. Breakfast was decent, but I struggled to get a complementary coffee past breakfast was served. One of the benefits of staying out of the Hampton Inn is that you can go down and have a coffee or tea anytime of the day so this was disappointed as well The furniture in their breakfast/dining room area is not in good condition at all. The seat bottoms are shredding and falling apart, and it was stains on some of the soft cushions as well. I come to Regina often for business and as I mentioned, I typically stay at Hilton properties. But I think on my next trip out I’ll try the Sandman just down the street hopefully one day they’ll renovate this property, Improve their cleaning and bring it up to Hilton standards.
