They’re doing the best they can given the circumstances but it’s unprofessional to hide the fact that the hotel is a complete mess, loud, and amenities are not available and yet still charge $200/night. Travelers should be able to make an informed decision on where they stay and should know that loud construction noises are going to start at 8am, you will not have access to a workout room, etc. They do have an alternative gym for you to use but it’s not safe for me to go walking in an unfamiliar place at 5am to workout. I would have expected a reduced room rate and transparency that I will be experiencing construction during my stay. I’ve been waffling between going all in on Hilton or switching to Marriott Bonvoy and this has sealed my decision to jump to Marriott.

There's construction going on right now that makes for some awkwardness while checking in and navigating the hotel, but it was less stressful than I expected. The room was spacious, super clean, and had a good view of the river. The bed was harder than I like, but I made myself a pillow nest and slept decently. The best part was the downstairs restaurant, Crave. The food was pretty good, but best of all was hearing, "Would you like a vegetarian or gluten-free menu?" I'm a vegetarian and have never been asked that. Yes, yes I do want the veggie menu, and thanks for asking!
