- JTjoy TDec 14, 20251.0This normally serene chain hotel for road-weary travelers deceptively does not reveal that it shares a location with a TRU family hotel! Our stay last night had a lobby that was chock full of children on vacation and a very inattentive/unconcerned desk staff. (And don't even think of a relaxing, quiet swim!) The breakfast area was packed with unwatched kids - or mothers making multiple plates Again, staff was noticeably absent or uninterested. Our room was comfortable enough, but the bottom sheet of the bed didn't even fit and kept popping off all night. In addition, luggage carts were ALL the small, ridiculous triangle-shaped ones that barely hold a full-sized suitcase - and at checkout, there was literally a LINE waiting for next available one! (Probably due to the families all needing to make multiple trips.) As usual, the staff could have cared less - instead of perhaps helping to locate any additional ones (maybe at the TRU hotel next door perhaps?), I watched two of them carry on a casual conversation while the amount of people looking for carts grew. Lastly, someone over-stirred the powdered egg mixture so much that the eggs looked like styraphone filler rather than any resemblance to eggs. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL - keep driving or find another!!
