Great stay. We usually stay at the adjacent Courtyard, but the Home2 Suites has a great deal for pets. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

I am someone who relies heavily on reviews before booking a hotel, regardless of star rating. Out of all the hotels in the area, I chose this one specifically because it was the only property without any reviews mentioning bed bugs. One major plus of the stay was access to the water park, which was a lot of fun and definitely a highlight and it is pet-friendly. The room itself was very spacious and included a full refrigerator and dishwasher, which felt like a great value for the price. Initially, I would have rated this hotel closer to a two-star experience; however, the beds were comfortable and the location is excellent, with many food and shopping options nearby. My main concern was cleanliness. It appeared that the beds and fresh towels may have been the only items thoroughly cleaned. Unfortunately, we found a used condom near the trash can, which would have been difficult to miss if the trash had been emptied during housekeeping. This created a very awkward moment when my child noticed it and asked what it was. Additionally, we noticed splatter stains that were not visible until the morning when we opened the curtains. The extra pillow also had some stains so we just set it aside. The only reason we did not request a room change was because the beds appeared clean (or at least we hoped they were). As a frequent traveler, I always check for mattress covers, as they help provide an added layer of protection and reassurance against bed bugs. I would strongly recommend that the hotel consider using them. I did speak with the front desk staff member, Jordan, who was very kind and understanding when I expressed my concerns, and I appreciated her professionalism.

This hotel advertises a “great pet policy,” but that claim is incredibly misleading. During our stay, we requested housekeeping service twice and were denied both times because we had pets in the room. This is despite the fact that I clearly explained both to the housekeeper and the front desk that the dogs were secured in kennels and wearing bark collars, so there was no possibility of barking or interference while staff was in the room. The excuse given by the front desk employee was that housekeeping would not enter the room because the dogs might bark, which directly contradicts what I explicitly stated multiple times. Even after making these accommodations and clarifications, housekeeping was still denied. To be clear: I understand that housekeeping is every other day. That was not the issue. The issue was being repeatedly denied service after making reasonable accommodations and explicit requests. As a result, we were forced to clean our own room, take out our own garbage, and request fresh towels like it was a favor rather than a basic service. The customer service made the situation significantly worse. The front desk staff consistently showed indifference and a lack of professionalism. On Thursday, we specifically asked about the waterpark and were led to believe it was open. We walked all the way up only to find out that it was not open yet. When we returned to the front desk and informed the employee, her response was, “Oh yeah, I should’ve told you.” She was too busy on her cell phone texting to pay attention to what we were actually asking or to provide accurate information. At checkout, the same dismissive attitude continued. The employee told me I should “be happy” because we received a $25 discount on our final night. I walked away and said “you obviously don’t care” after continued snarky remarks. A $25 discount does not make up for the lack of service, apathetic attitude, or the fact that we essentially had to manage the room ourselves. Beyond that, the room itself was uncomfortable and the beds and pillows are extremely disappointing. The pillows are flat and sunken in, the beds are not firm and Have big craters in the middle of them. The couch was torn and sheets and blankets are paper thin. We were placed on the end of the building, and temperature regulation was poor. Even set at 75 degrees, the room was uncomfortably cold, making it anything but a relaxing or restful stay. Between the misleading pet policy, denied housekeeping, poor temperature control, excessive noise, and consistently indifferent customer service, this stay was not worth the cost. As a Hilton Honors member- We will not be staying here again.

A bit of a pain to find, but otherwise just like other Home2 Suites I have stayed at. Breakfast area is too cramped and people block each other.
