We had issues with our room, but GM Keith Kane jumped right in when he was told, and straightened it right out. We had to stay here because our AC went out. The rooms are nice but the temperature is either cold or hot with no in-between. We usually have a clean room but this last trip the floor was filthy and the bed had trash in it. I usually don't complain about the room but when you step into the shower you can see how much dirt you pick up just from the entrance way. It was disgusting. The front desk is always helpful and full of smiles! They have snack and small meals upfront along with plastic utensils.

This Hilton Hotel advertises a "Free Hot Breakfast", but if you choose a special pricing - like "Senior Pricing" or "AAA" pricing you DO NOT GET THE FREE BREAKFAST!!! This is not indicated anywhere on the Hilton Summerville website!! It is not indicated after you book your room at the special price. When you go downstairs to prresumably get your "free" breakfast, your key will not work to get into the special breakfast room. Your name is not on "the list" at the hotel's restaurant either!! This is very, very misleading and really I'm surprised at Hilton. We booked a room in California near Disney and also used the Senior rate and had a beautiful free breakfast. This is definitely a "bait and switch" tactic!!! This is pretty low for the Summerville Hilton in my opinion, as there are no places around this hotel to step out and get breakfast at any other establishment.
