  We stayed there last and it was the worst motel. No hot water smelled like Marijuana all might. Pillow was so bad. Never again

  The hotel quality was not the best I have ever stayed at, but it definitely was not the worst. I may be jaded by the lack of hospitality here in S Carolina. It is such a laid back, slow moving state, you would think people would be cheerful. You would be wrong though! From the moment we got to the hotel to check in, until now, I have encountered 1 individual who has been pleasant. She worked at Ollie’s though, not here at the hotel. From the one who checked us in, down to the maids and breakfast cook, they make you feel like you are inconveniencing them. 22 days I have been here at the hotel, not by my choice, as I would have checked out and went to another hotel by the 2nd day. I’m here working and my employer chooses the location. The location is great for anyone who loves to eat at IHOP & Cracker Barrel, which is located within a few feet of the hotel. IHOP was just like the hotel. It was slow as heck, overpriced & food quality was not worth the price. As for the hotel, it has a bad homeless population, of which some stay right behind the hotel and have a constant presence. Motel would come knock on our door first thing in the morning to collect towels and then I would not come back to clean the room until the afternoon. That’s if you called the front desk to let them know you need service by 9 AM. I received a package the motel had opened and instead of calling me to let me know the package was there and they accidentally opened it, they put it in the safe. I Inquired the following day to discover they received it and opened it. Breakfast is typical. Biscuits and gravy, toast, scrambled eggs, half cooked pork, waffles, fruit, and a few things of cereal. Although they did run out of gravy, bread, & milk on a couple different occasions while we were there.. also, towards the end of our stay to checkout there was very minimal hot water. All they would say is to give it a few minutes as they had just finished working on it. I didn’t only give him a few minutes, I give them a few days and it never came back.. Happy Travels!

  Everything was ok till i tried to grab some juice in the morning older lady tried to jump on me this morning I just said yes mam Gm an walk off she wasn’t playing about her kitchen I guess lol ready to go back to Greenville already

  As a Best Western Rewards member, I always choose Best Western because it truly is a choice worth making! The staff was incredibly excellent, and the room was not just spacious but also very affordable. The bed was comfortable, and although the pillows were a little on the soft side, they were still comfortable. However, some issues need to be addressed by management. Firstly, the sofa was filthy, with dark black stains that resembled old motor oil covering most of it. Additionally, black mold is growing on the ceiling above the shower area. Since the tile has separated from the corners of the shower wall, mold is also present in the cracks between the tiles. Also, the bath towels were still damp, as if they had not been thoroughly dried after washing. Furthermore, I found it odd that there were no USB ports in the room, especially considering the prevalence of cell phone use today.
