- STsusan taylorNov 6, 20255.0I spent 2 nights at Tru last month. The hotel was very clean and the employees were very nice. This will be my go to hotel when I have to stay in Columbia. The only thing I will say is that the room was a little on the small side, but because Iwas only staying 2 nights and I was in and out that wasn't an issue for me. Tru is connected to another Hikton hotel that I believe has larger rooms. The lobby was very nice. The food at the bar and breakfast was good. 5 stars all around.

To get to downtown, you have to cross Huger, which is a pain. When we were checking inc our rooms weren't ready, even around 5 pm. Thats why the 4 stars. But the folks at the front desk were working hard to get us all in the rooms. I’ll stay here again next time I have to travel here.

My room was spotless and well-maintained, with fresh linens and everything in good order. The common areas were just as nice, which gave me confidence that the property takes cleanliness seriously. Comfort and cleanliness are two of the most important things I look for when traveling, and this hotel delivered on both. One of the best parts about the location is that it’s downtown. That meant I could easily walk to a variety of restaurants, shops, and attractions. It made exploring the area much more convenient, and I appreciated not having to rely on my car every time I wanted to step out. The only downside I encountered was the daily parking fee. That said, the overall experience was strong, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.
