We had a great stay here! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. I want to give a special shoutout to Kendra at the front desk — she was Incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. She and her colleague Chelsea went above and beyond for us and treated our kids with so much warmth.
If you’re thinking about staying at this hotel, I highly recommend it — and make sure to say hi to Kendra at the front desk. She’s the best!

My husband and I stayed here for one night because we were in town for a concert. Chelsea got us checked in smoothly and quickly. The hote is beautiful! Our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location was great as well. It is a short walk from the Colonial Life Arena.i would recommend this hotel to anyone coming into town!

Staff turned a problem into a great experience - the hotel had a nice room ready, but unfortunately the previous guest had smoked in the room (against policy). They had worked to mitigate the odor, but by the next morning a lingering smoke smell had returned. Kendra and Chelsea provided top notch service, got me moved immediately to another clean room and took great care of me. Great place to stay!

I stayed at the Hilton Columbia and honestly the place feels stuck in time. Most of the current high ratings must be from years ago or the reviewers are as old as the hotel because nothing about the rooms feels updated. The furniture is worn, the bathroom fixtures are old, and the overall space just feels tired. For the price, I expected something fresher and more modern.
The lobby looks nice enough, but once you get to the rooms it is a different story. The age really shows. There was rust on the toilet and in the bathtub. After having a poor experience at Ruth Chris, I checked out and went to a new hotel with no issues. With so many newer hotels in the area, this one just does not compare. I wanted this to be a comfortable stay, but it missed the mark. I would not choose this location again until they complete a full renovation.

The Hilton Columbia Center is almost my second home. I’m there almost weekly from January to June and have done so for at least the last 6yrs or so. Ms Tobie, the front desk manager and her team always make me feel welcome and that goes a long way when you are on the road so much. Last week I was accompanied by 20 of my teammates from my organization and the same warm welcome was extended to them as well. Any little hiccup with a reservation or room was immediately taken care of with their top notch customer service. One front desk member in particular, Kendra took care almost all of the concerns almost single handed. Kendra’s one of Ms. Tobie’s staples that’s been there for some time now despite natural attrition that happens in that setting. It’s one thing as a frequent flyer to be welcomed home but I sat and watched as they extended that same warmth to my entire team and everyone else they encountered. Despite having hundreds of teens that were there for a symposium. Thank you Ms. Tobie and Kendra, you ladies are the best!
