We recently stayed at Hilton Columbia Center. The location and accommodations were as expected. Chelsea at the front desk was awesome. She was helpful with making all those extra keys, giving useful information, and she remembered our names each time! Thank you Chelsea for making our stay great!

On December 23, 2025, I checked into the Hilton Columbia Center while hosting and staying on property for my 50th Birthday Celebration, a milestone event that required a significant financial investment across event space, accommodations, and related services.
During check-in, I asked a simple and reasonable question regarding water availability in the guest rooms. The African American gentleman working at the front desk responded in a rude, dismissive, and unprofessional manner. His attitude were unnecessary and not aligned with basic hospitality standards, especially for a guest hosting a major celebration at the property.
This interaction immediately created stress at the start of what should have been a joyful and well-supported experience. Given the level of business I brought to the hotel and the importance of the occasion, I expected courtesy, respect, and professionalism..particularly during a routine check-in inquiry.
For a Hilton-branded property, front-desk service should reflect consistency, professionalism, and guest-focused care. Unfortunately, this interaction fell short and negatively impacted my initial impression of the stay.
When a guest is hosting a major celebration and spending a considerable amount of money with a property, basic courtesy and respectful communication should be expected. Unfortunately, that standard was not met.
As a result of this experience, I will not host another event or spend this level of money at a property where guests are treated rudely for asking a simple question. This behavior does not reflect the service standards associated with the Hilton brand.
I strongly encourage management to review front-desk customer-service expectations and accountability to ensure future guests are treated with professionalism and respect.

immaculate, BEAUTIFUL hotel, superb location and welcomed by Richard at the desk for check in. Richard was welcoming, professional and went above and beyond for our short stay here. I would highly recommend this hotel and hopefully you too, will treated as well by Richard at the front desk. Highly Recommend this hotel when visiting the downtown area. Will be back in May for our Son's wedding. Can't Wait! Thank you to Richard for all knowledge on the area and all the hot spots to visit here. Richard needs a raise! HAHAHA! Love him!

Perfect location for experiencing downtown Columbia and events at the convention center! The hotel is nice and surrounded by restaurants. However, the front desk staff (on a hectic day of check-ins) provided excellent service and care throughout the stay. I must highlight Kendra, Chelsea and Tiquanna!!!
