For some reason my review was deleted. Don’t let the pictures fool you this hotel isn’t worth the money. I felt like I was over charged. $295 for one night, there was a concert in town and the prices for the room skyrocketed. The room was dirty, the front door of the room, the chairs, and carpet, had stains on them. The bathroom towels had hair on them and were dirty. Our window blinds was stuck and would not close. I picked up the phone to call the front desk, the phone was disconnected from the wall, and dirty and sticky. I called them for my cell phone, the front desk would not help. They told us maintenance wasn’t in. So we had to hang a sheet from the window. No one ever came to fix it.

Nice hotel, just wish hotel designers would put towel racks in the bathrooms instead of some stupid picture!

We visited this area for Family Week and had a lovely time. The accommodations were great and we really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning.

Room was nasty. I hate to see what they would give non-diamond members. Mold. Dirt. Grime. Everywhere, from front doors, elevators, and rooms. They have painted over lots of water damage in the rooms. The main lock had all of the screw heads busted off and was barely hanging on. Terrible shape, really, and not what I expect from a Hilton brand.

I’m very disappointed to say the least. We’ve stayed here before and always enjoyed our stay, but this time was much different. I don’t know what has changed in management or on the service side, but it went downhill from the last time we’ve stayed. We checked in around 6:00 or so on a Friday night. The first room smelled like stale cigarette smoke and because I’m getting over pneumonia I didn’t want to sleep in there. I went down to the front desk and asked nicely if I could be moved due to the situation. At first the lady said they had no more rooms and were sold out. The guy then offered to look and found another room on the sixth floor. I took my things up there and it did seem better at first. Within 20 minutes of being there the whole hallway smelled of cigarette smoke to the point it was coming into our room. I went back down to the front desk and told them kindly what was going on and that I’ve never had this big of an issue at a Hampton Inn or with Hilton before with the smoke. The lady said all she could do is cancel our room and give us our money back. This was 7:30 at night and everything around us was sold out because of the football game and events in town. We had to be up by 5:30 the next morning. Because we were paying almost 400 dollars for the room that night, I asked if we could have some compensation due to the situation. I was paying a lot of money to endure cigarette smoke in what was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel and was just getting over pneumonia. I understand things happen, but the costumer service is what was most disappointing. She said they couldn’t compensate any money or do anything. The guy came upstairs and even agreed the smoke was bad and apologized. He said he could understand why I was upset. He was kind and helpful, but the other lady working offered little if any help. As a long time Hilton Honors member I expected better customer service and was very disappointed in our stay. They have always been a nice hotel, but this was not acceptable and they need to rethink their costumer service.
