  Had to stay here while I was visiting my daughter and family for Christmas. Was a nice, comfortable, quiet room with a comfortable bed.

  Killian is a really good place to stop. Tons of restaurants, etc. The young man who checked me in is incredibly nice! He's been there awhile, so you know the hotel is run well. Good work....see you again.

  My husband and I stayed overnight at the Hampton Inn Columbia, SC, Killian Road on Sunday, December 28. It was the halfway point on our long drive home from Florida to Ohio. We were three hours into the drive before I realized that I had probably left my iPad in our hotel room. I called the front desk of the hotel, and staff member Katrina picked up. When I inquired whether an iPad had been found, she said that the cleaning staff had not been in the room yet but she would immediately go up herself and check for it in the room. Not long later, she called back and said that she had found the iPad - and made me feel better by saying that it really blended in with the top of the desk where I had left it :). I explained that we were already three hours away and unable to return to the hotel and asked if there was any way that it could be shipped back to me. She said that she would contact her manager and get back to me. In short order, I got another call with the affirmation that yes, it could be shipped back and she would personally be taking it to a UPS location to get it in the mail today. After taking my credit card information she said that she could email the tracking number to me to ensure its arrival. What a relief, and what a gem Katrina is! Please let her know how much I appreciated her willingness to go above and beyond to get the iPad back to me. I will be sharing the story widely as evidence that there are still good people in the world. The iPad arrived yesterday, securely packaged and for less money than a lunch out. Happy holidays to all of at the Hampton Inn Columbia Killian Road! P.S. I did not get their names, but the staff helping with breakfast this morning (Dec. 29) were also very friendly and helpful. That makes such a difference when traveling and was a great way to start the day. Thanks to all!!

  Right off of interstate. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Walmart is maybe a mile down the road. Off the main road to the back of the shopping complex so it not too loud and you are able to have an enjoyable stay. Would recommend to anyone who is coming to the area.

  A 2 star hotel for sure. Stayed here for a few weeks, elevator carpet smelled like animal & like it had not been cleaned in years. Breakfast was the same everyday. Despite 'Do Not Disturb' sign on door, housekeepers still knocked and entered & half cleaned while musty. No communication in staff. Management lacked customer service skills, problem solving skills & critical thinking & comprehension skills. Not worth price
