Great location near the end of Tiger Blvd - easy uber ride to tailgating/game. Isiah at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Ms. Minnie also stood out providing breakfast with a smile and sweet southern hospitality.

This Hampton gets all the basics right. The water pressure is good, the hot water comes up fast, the thermostats are accurate, the air conditioners work well and it's clean. Michelle and the breakfast area keeps everything neat and orderly and the food is as good as it can be.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Hampton Inn in Clemson. Every single morning when I went down for breakfast, the breakfast attendant I believe her name is Melissa came up to me before I could even take a bite of my food to ask for a review. She even handed me a paper with a barcode and told me she gets $20 for each review. This happened every morning, and it was honestly uncomfortable, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate. I’m a paying guest trying to enjoy my stay, not someone to be pressured for money-making reviews. This behavior reflects very poorly on the hotel. Guests shouldn’t be harassed or interrupted repeatedly just to boost someone’s incentives. It made the entire breakfast experience unpleasant, and it absolutely needs to be addressed.

The hotel is older but still offers solid quality and good cleanliness. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a walk to and around the lake is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Melissa made sure there were plenty of options for breakfast and provided a clean, warm, and welcoming environment. We have stayed here multiple times over several months to perform work in the area. The only complaint is seating in the rooms. Unless you select a suite with a coach (which costs more), the only seating is your bed or an office chair. They previously offered a regular chair making it the ideal place to stay. Bringing these back would boost my review.

Everything was superb. I’ve been on the road for work and hence been in numerous hotels and it definitely is satisfactory, especially the breakfast and how clean everything is. Melissa is on point with timely response and a smile on her face. Will stay here next time.
