  1. As a Diamond member, I have to ask the front desk multiple times to have our greeting package. 2. No hot water from shower. 3. Some rooms are close to the express. So be prepared to wake up at midnight. 4. The billing is a total mess. The front desk can’t correctly charge with the credits.

  We booked a one night stay because we were traveling from Florida to Maryland and figured this would be a good spot to lay our head. Check in was easy, the room looked nice but when we tried to shower after the long drive there was no hot water. We called the front desk and they said that we would have to wait until the morning for an engineer to stop by the room because they were completely sold out. We left early the next morning and took a cold shower. It was very disappointing to pay $300 for a room and have no hot water. I guess it wasn’t a good place to lay our head after a long drive.

  We stayed here for our Christmas visit to Charleston. We ate downtown and visited the James Island Festival of Lights. This hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy both conveniently. Dee was very friendly and informative at check-in. The free shuttle was not running which was a bit disappointing. The rooms have been recently renovated. My wife and I were very comfortable. We have paid a lot more in Charleston and not been so well taken care of. The parking lot is easy to navigate (which cannot be said of all hotels in the area). Prices in the Market are reasonable. The room had a nice view of the city. It was quiet and clean. We will stay here again.

  Smelled like burning car oil the entire third floor we were on not to mention ice machine did not work fridge didn't work for the first day and the entire time our heater did not work we made several attempts for an HVAC or maintenance to come fix our heat mind you it is 40° outside they said it was working just fine but my cold butt says otherwise would not recommend this place or any other Hilton spend a few bucks more and get a better experience somewhere else the staff is not to customer service oriented either

  Nice hotel, good location, relatively quiet. Room was clean and has everything you need. Microwave, mini fridge, iron. Ask for a room away from the road or you'll hear constant vehicle noise. Only negative was the hot water. Shower water was sort of hot and did cycle in temp a bit but never got cool. Sink water didn't get hot, only tepid, no matter how long it ran. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Parking around back. Descent size room for two people. Bar/restaurant needs to change the music they play. Not really pleasant, not really appropriate to hear. Also, the common areas need attention to wipe off finger prints and marks from the elevators and doors.
