The staff was very friendly and helpful. But the coffee was terrible, the windows were very dirty, and the floors were uneven. There were also no curtains over the windows, and the blinds let a lot of light yet. The noise was to be expected in this part of town, but there could have been better insulation.
Ultimately the main thing this hotel has going for it is the location.

Always enjoy coming to Charleston! Staying downtown is typically key for us to visit the attractions but mostly family. And when we do we stay at the Lodge Alley Inn or King 583 with Bluegreen/ Hilton Greens Vacations.
