    Rooms were spacious but you could hear neighboring doors opening and closing all night. It was quiet from the nearby road, though. Great location walkable to a few shops and a running path, and only 10 minute drive to the coast.

    Clean room, friendly service, really helped made my stay in Rhode Island that much better! Being from out of state, feels like a great location, just a short drive to both Newport and Providence. Beautiful grounds too, with plenty of Adirondack chairs and what looked like a firepit (I stayed during the Nor'Easter so that firepit was not in service). I would absolutely come back to this location.

    We were just there for a nearby wedding. We mostly booked though a very expensive $450 a night room block and the wedding had shuttles to the venue etc…. We all started arriving at 3pm (check in time). No rooms were ready!!!!! As they slowly started to become ready the front desk had ZERO organization. Like for example I tried to check in at 3:30. The last said it will be ready in ten minutes. So I went outside and took a walk (lobby was packed)… when I came back at 3:50pm (20 minutes later) she said rooms are not ready and she doesn’t know when they will now!!!!! They just kept giving the next room to someone in lobby and had I known I wouldn’t have taken a walk. So this time I stayed in the lobby. By 4:10pm we were beyond annoyed. The shuttle to the venue was coming at 4:30 for the wedding and we still had to change, do hair make up etc…. They could not give us a time frame. When my cousin (aunt of bride) finally started to get annoyed, they raised their voice at her. It was beyond unprofessional. I had to step in and start talking legal terms to calm the horrific male employee down. Making him realize it’s Hilton in breach of the contract since we paid for a room that wasn’t ready and it’s unacceptable it’s not ready!!! We most certainly are not missing a wedding because you are short staffed. And most reviews here prove you have been short staffed for a while, so it’s not just an unlucky day. It seems your hotel is not being run correctly and needs major improvements. Especially for $450 a night… TV wouldn’t play live TV. Phone was broken. HVAC was not working correctly (couldn’t get the room comfortable)… dingy, dirty, and not even a cup in the room. It was disgusting and gross. The only staff member that was polite was John. He got us in the rooms by 4:20 and left us ten minutes to get ready. It still was awful and unacceptable but without him we would have missed the wedding. He was not the male employee I spoke of earlier who was rude and not taking any accountability. John was a different male who was amazing. Without him you guys would have a lot more complaints from yesterday!!!! 10/3/25. Do better!!!! We paid big bucks for a terrible experience.
