    Excellent hôtel. Nous y sommes allés en famille pour une nuit et tout était parfait. Le service est super, le personnel est très courtois, les biscuits sont délicieux 😉, les chambres très propres et le buffet déjeuner est excellent. Nous serons de retour c’est certain. Hôtel de première classe à Québec.

    We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Quebec Resort from October 17–19, 2025. While there were some positives, our experience fell below the Hilton standard we typically expect. Our first room had numerous ladybugs on the curtains and windows. When we raised this with the front desk, we were told it was “ladybug season” and that this was normal. While I understand seasonal issues can occur, the concern was handled very casually, and it was only after specifically requesting a room change that action was taken. Unfortunately, the second room showed signs of the same issue, though to a lesser degree. We also discovered a broken lamp, which was promptly replaced, but it added to the impression that rooms may not be thoroughly checked prior to arrival. I would like to recognize Carlos, who was outstanding. He helped move a crib between rooms and replace the lamp with professionalism and a great attitude — a clear example of good service. What was most disappointing was the front desk experience. During our initial conversation, we could see Facebook open on a staff monitor behind the desk, which gave a poor impression of how our concern was being received. At checkout, we were not asked about our stay and were told the system was down and we would be checked out later. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope it helps improve housekeeping standards and front desk attentiveness. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this experience further with management.

    I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Quebec City and was unfortunately disappointed by how a significant issue was handled. Our toilet stopped working early in the day and remained unusable for the entirety of our stay. We notified the front desk at least three separate times, but there was no sense of urgency or visible effort to resolve the problem. We were told the technician was on holiday and that they were unsure if or when he would come in. The only solution offered was a plunger, with the suggestion that we try to fix it ourselves. By the time we checked out, the issue had never been addressed, nor was there any indication that an attempt had been made to fix it. What made the experience particularly frustrating was not just the broken toilet, but the lack of concern and accountability shown by the staff. When we politely asked about compensation for the inconvenience, we were told it was out of their hands, and the plunger was presented as a reasonable and courteous solution. I understand that maintenance issues can happen, but how they are handled matters greatly. In this case, the absence of urgency, follow through, and genuine effort to make the situation right significantly impacted our stay and fell short of what I would expect from a Hilton property.

    HONTE pour un Hilton qui charge plus de 300$ la nuit. Spa tiède, même pas de peignoir dans la chambre ni au spa, serviettes à main pour s'essuyer et j'en passe (je ne veux pas m'acharner)... Hey la gang, réveillez-vous! Qu'est-ce que vous faites??? Vous ne faites mention d'aucune étoile sur votre site web et je comprends donc! Jveux ben accepter de payer le gros prix sans chigner car c'est le 31 décembre mais faut livrer la marchandise. ps.: merci au gars du resto super gentil qui m'a prêté 2 coupes à champagne pour la chambre. Ça c'est du service🙏.

    Extremely disappointing housekeeping service for a DoubleTree stay. Housekeeping entered our room and did almost nothing — the floors were barely cleaned, the washroom was completely ignored, and no fresh towels or toiletries were provided. The only noticeable action was making the bed. What made this worse was management’s response. We raised the issue directly, and all that was offered was a simple apology with no attempt to resolve or compensate for the poor service. This level of housekeeping and lack of accountability is unacceptable for a brand like DoubleTree. Basic standards were not met, and the response showed little concern for guest experience.
