9.5/10 Experience. The Good: Great location, love the rooms, great breakfast selection, loved Outback Steakhouse, Bathrooms were handicap accessible and also plus sized adult friendly. Bad: No hot tub in pool area, Hotel bathroom does not have a bath tub. Standing shower or shower chair only. The Ugly: Totally not Hampton Inns fault. But at night there were about 20 kids in the pool being loud and disruptive. They were whipping balls at eachother and screaming. Parents were doing nothing about the behavior. The same parents were at breakfast and one of the mothers was being loud and causing a scene. Not Hampton Inn’s fault but it’s just something to keep in mind that you may have to deal with.

Very dated with a fresh coat of paint. Parking is weird. It’s a place to sleep but not a place to stay.

Everything was wrong with this hotel and the staff, but to condense, the hotel staff did not accommodate our request for adjoining rooms when booking and despite being a Diamond Member and being recognized as such, we never received our points. We travelled with a group and everyone experienced issues - dirty rooms, messed up reservations, unfriendly staff that was unwilling to help. One person was even given a key to a room that was occupied and they entered the room in the middle of the night. The list goes on and on. I submitted a full review to Hampton directly so hopefully it will be addressed. I would avoid this hotel at all costs due to numerous issues reported by multiple families all during the same stay.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Monroeville, PA on October 12-14 and I must say the hotel is in desperate need of renovation. Upon checking into room 908 we were appalled to see the sheer curtains were torn (photos attached), the cabinets half dusted and the bed creaked with every move. I notified the front desk and was told there were no vacancies and nothing could be done. I then requested maintenance to remove the sheer curtain as the heavy drapes would suffice. They didn’t respond until the following morning. I was told that if I checked out earlier than my reservation dates I would be charged for both days. The following morning Melinda was able to assign us a different room which was much better. I always affiliate Hilton as offering top quality accommodations. This property fell short of expectations.
