Our stay at the Hilton Gettysburg was nothing short of exceptional, and that’s entirely because of the incredible staff who made our visit unforgettable. From the moment we walked in for our group’s celebration of the USMC 250th Birthday, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and first-class hospitality. TIM, the Marine who checked us in at the front desk, immediately made us feel at home. KINGA and MAGGIE, the managers, were outstanding—professional, attentive, and consistently going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. A special thank-you goes to CHRISTY, the bartender and Bar Manager. Not only did she provide excellent service, but she also shared a meaningful story about her father, also a Marine, and offered fantastic local advice for exploring Gettysburg. Her kindness and authenticity truly stood out. The lobby’s cozy fireplace and community-style seating created a warm, inviting atmosphere that made our group feel relaxed throughout our stay. But the real highlight of this hotel is the team—their honesty, hospitality, and genuine care are rare and deeply appreciated. To the entire staff: thank you for making our stay memorable from start to finish.

This is one of the reviews I posted for our stay on YELP TRIP ADVISOR & GOOGLE If any of you guys feel as though you received great service please leave a 5 star review of the Gettysburg Hilton Garden Inn. Go to Google reviews Hilton.com Trip advisor Yelp Several Marines stayed there during the November 250th Marine Corps Birthday weekend I would like to recognize Manager’s names KINGA & MAGGIE and front desk clerk TIM for the awesome hospitality and welcoming nature. They all took great care of all of us and went beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The bartender and Bar manager CHRISTY was awesome as well. She shared a great story about her MARINE father who was a full bird and gave us great advice for GETTYSBURG . They let us have run of the place and asked us to please come back. Very close to Gettysburg and a great location for food and other amenities.

The best thing about this Hotel is the Staff & their customer service ! They are authentic, and very warm & welcoming. They recognized we had a special event (the USMC 250th Birthday) from the moment our group walked in, to the moment we left everything was 5 star service ! We asked for some advice for local restaurants or things to do? They were spot on with their sage, local advice. The entire town is filled with historians and this Hotel is unique with them :) They all were so accommodating and offered us to a charming lobby with a fireplace and community table that provides a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Thank you to all the staff for all of your hospitality and hometown honesty during our stay. We shall return !

I am currently in a room on the 4th floor. The room is very nice. The room is freezing cold especially the bathroom. I told the front desk and the control had to be switched from cold to heat. The maintenance lock in the temperature and you cannot get it above a certain temperature. Still cold even with the switch to heat. The heat will not run for 2 hours once the thermostat hits a certain temperature. Stepping on the bathroom floor is like stepping on a block of ice. I called the front desk last night and tried for 45 minutes and no one answered. When I came down to the lobby, the front desk person was at the bar. She can't answer the phone or help guests if she is away from the front desk bsing, can she????? I went to breakfast two mornings in a row and breakfast was stone cold. I even asked for French Toast and it was cold. I cannot recommend this hotel to any guests. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

Nothing fancy, just a basic chain hotel location. We had already lowered expectations during our visit to Gettysburg, because it unfortunately coincided with the recent government shutdown. We just needed a safe and clean place to spend the night, and that's what we found here. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was nothing worthy of mention.
