- LJLisa JanoskiNov 7, 20253.0The heating/AC unit was so loud that it woke me up. The constant fan setting doesn’t stop the antiquated extremely loud turning on noise when it needs to warm/cool. You can also hear I-5. It is a motel, not a hotel, and you can tell that in years past it was a smoking motel as you can smell faint stale cigarette smoke, especially in the bathroom. The bedding was comfortable and there are nice views of the river and a nice outdoor hot tub (although you can hear I-5 from it).

I found the room's clean and modern, plenty of facilities and the shower was strong with plenty of hot water. Some rooms are accessible through an outdoor corridor and so may feel a bit cold, in the winter, upon approach. I believe most rooms have a view of the SF Umpqua River which is nice. I had a good stay and would recommend.
