- TPToya P.Nov 13, 20251.0I travel for work on a regular basis and I’ve been in some questionable 🤨 hotels, but never a HILTON. Our first day of arrival in Portland we stayed at Sojourn Suites and to our surprise it was actually a very nice hotel for nearly half the money we paid per night at your establishment. I was unable to cancel this particular reservation so we didn’t extend at the first hotel. Upon arrival in our room there were foot prints on the wall way the fridge was apparently in defrost mode so an entire sheet of ice was on the top shelf. The shower was disgusting with hair in drain and on the bathroom floor along with stained towels. My husband is bald and my hair is not only loc’d but it is also copper colored. I informed the lady at the front desk and she gave me new towels, I even showed her pictures. Needless to say I went to the store and grabbed cleaning supplies and disinfected and cleaned our room. Just yo even see the shower in that shape had me questioning the entire cleanliness of the room while wondering what other short cuts were taken.

We flew in from TN to Portland, Oregon on August 8th and my daughter paid for the room on Expedia back in April. When we got to the hotel at 10pm only to find that the room that my daughter paid for was given to someone else. We were given a room that was not conducive to our family size or our situation for my 88 yr old mother. I tried contacting the manager for a week while we were in Oregon, leaving messages for a call back. Never heard from Marleen the manager. Very poor customer service with the motto that is listed on their wall. This hotel by Hilton is off my list in Oregon.
