4 stars because of the food and difficulty parking. We stayed in a very large suite on the 8th floor and it was very clean and setup nicely. Hotel was very clean and well taken care of. The restaurant food was not great for dinner. Happy hour never disappoints at the Embassy Suites and breakfast is always above par with the Omelets. Parking you have to use a service on your phone and enter a credit card number even though it is pre-paid. This was a HUGE turnoff since my identity was stolen by a Park Mobile hack a few years ago, so avoid these services as much as possible. They should allow Paypal, Google Pay or other service in between my credit card and them or really not require it if it was pre-paid by and at the hotel. With everything being hacked these days, don't like having to enter a credit card number to be stored with another company I am not doing business with. Understand the problems that could arise from park and flyers, but the hotel could do a better job handling those.

My stay at the Embassy Airport Hotel in Portland was short but very pleasant. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials. The multi-height lobby with a mezzanine, indoor garden, and fountain was a beautiful surprise upon arrival and made the included Elemental breakfast even more enjoyable. The staff was kind and helpful throughout my stay. The location is convenient and close to the airport, with easy access and an efficient shuttle service. Highly recommended for comfort and convenience near PDX.

This is a phenomenal hotel. For starters, the massive atrium design with the plants and fish and water features at the bottom is simply awesome. It’s such a peaceful and pleasant sight. I can’t speak for the other rooms, but mine was fantastic. Had a front row seat to the PDX airport runways and it was awesome to watch the airport traffic from the comfort of my room. For those of you curious about noise from the aircraft, I would say it’s effectively non-existent. The rooms are truly well insulated. The interior and fixtures were all modern. The complementary cocktail hour was great. Two free beverages, plus snacks. I really enjoyed it. The free breakfast was another surprise. It’s a proper self-serve buffet with tons of options (way more than your average hotel) with a cook-to-order omelette station on the side as well. It was really impressive. The pool was also nice. I took a dip before leaving, and it was nice. All in all, a 10/10 experience. I wasn’t even traveling anywhere, just wanted a good hotel while I spent the night in Portland and randomly ended up going with this one — and I’m super glad I did.

Me and my mother and sister stayed a night here on November 1st. The room itself was nice, spacious, and clean, the free drink during their happy hour were also more impressive than other hiltons that Ive stayed at. However I was sad to see that the Koi pond they have spread out through their lobby had plenty of coins and even silverware and bottle caps in the water. Koi fish are beautiful animals and deserve a beautiful living enviorment. Sick fishes cant make wishes. The only other complaint that I would have would be that their smoking area (which has a designated ash tray) was riddled with cigarette and joint butts. I had gone to the front desk and asked if they had gloves so I could pick them all up to make it look a bit nicer considering the smoke area is only a few yards from the front enterance to the hotel, and they told me they didnt have gloves. They handed me a small stack of tissues and I used them to pick up the 50-60 cigarette butts on the ground. The staff was nice and its a beautiful hotel, just a few complaints that I have.
