Bugs in my room, waking all over the counter by the refrigerator and even in the refrigerator. Left as soon as I saw them in a panic, don’t like bugs. Could not even eat breakfast as I was disappointed and asked that Manager call me about my experience. I feel this is not acceptable and as a loyal IHG Platinum level member, I was very disappointed. The desk person offered me any snack I wanted after taking my $200+ for the night.
I left with no snack or breakfast, I just asked that the manger give me a call as no manager was there at that time. It’s been three days, so I’m writing this now.

We had 3 rooms booked but had to make some changes to our reservation since one of our party members had an emergency. The manager was flexible and reasonable in accommodating our situation. We appreciate the manager for his flexibility!
The rooms are clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. Our room faces the river and had a very calm and relaxing view that we really enjoyed. We saw people canoeing out there in the morning which was cool.
The kitchen staff, Esra (spelling?), was also very friendly and chatty. All the staff we've encountered at this hotel have been very helpful, friendly, and made our stay comfortable. I would definitely come back to this hotel again the next time I'm around town!

Don't stay here. It's not horrible, but it's not worth the money. I recently stayed here one night and a few nights at Hilton properties. Verdict: Hilton wins, hands down. 1) HIE Corvallis charged an 'extra' fee approx $20 that wasn't included in the total when I booked. I didn't think that was legal to do anymore but either way, it's just sneaky. No other hotel did that so it stands out as BS. 2) HIE Corvallis charged $10 for parking. The lot was basically empty so seems to be just another silly money grab. 3) Couldn't access the Internet - I called front desk and guy (very nice) said, yeah, we've been having issues. He had to give me another access code which did work, but next morning, there was no internet at all until time of check out. Not acceptable. 4) Coffee - in lobby they provide an option to brew your own which takes a few minutes and only medium roast or decaf was available. How lame is that to have EVERYONE that shows up for breakfast be beholden to this system. Brewing a pot (like most hotels) is convenient and appreciated - time is money people. Yes, there was a keurig in the room but again, if you just want to grab a cup quickly to go - forget it esp if there are other people waiting too. 5) After being disappointed with our stay and what it cost overall, I was reading their policies online and saw that they will charge $50 if you leave 'early'. Now why would you leave early? Perhaps because you're not thrilled, right? So the fact they are charging for this tells you more than the rest of my review. People stay here and want to leave. So be smart: don't stay here. We won't be back.
