Very nice staff. Helpful with both late checkout and finishing good places to eat around town.

As an active member, traveling all over the country in the sports and entertainment industry, I stay in hotels about 9 months out of the year. Several issues 1). This place is way over priced. Paid $265.00 it should be around $145.00 There is no parking lot or sidewalk night time lighting. This place is a liability lawsuit waiting for the perfect ambulance chasing lawyer to file a case against Hilton. Any one who is careful enough to scan your surroundings at night can not see a threat hiding very close by. Major security issue. Additionally you literally can't see where you are walking to avoid a tripping hazard. The room I had on the 3rd floor was average. About the same as a mid grade room. They added a dine in restaurant to try and justify the high price. The lobby has a self check out store with a wine cooler, so maybe that might help. 3) Shame on Hilton for employing a zero English speaking room service attendant. Com'on, please, at this rate you should by all means find American workers . I will lay one compliment. The morning restaurant host was a great dude. Super happy guy.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel when I interviewed with OSU in 2015. That pleasant experience helped me feel at ease, and my interview went well—I subsequently worked as an OSU faculty member for 10 years. As I still have research projects at OSU, I recently visited Corvallis and stayed at this hotel for five nights. This visit brought back many wonderful memories of my time in Corvallis. However, after checking out this morning, I received an email showing a $6 charge. I called the hotel to clarify, and the associate I spoke with immediately insisted that I had consumed two bottles of water, without first asking me or confirming details. I explained that I had used my own water bottle, which I refilled at the first-floor water fountain, and that I had not touched or used any of the provided water bottles, coffee, or cups. Unfortunately, I was not believed, which was very upsetting. I spent over $1,200 for my five-night stay. If I had actually consumed the water, I would not have bothered to call in the evening—it’s only $6, which I could easily expense since it was charged to my corporate travel card. My concern was simply to correct what I believe is an erroneous charge. In fact, out of courtesy to their housekeeping staff and for environmental reasons, I declined housekeeping services for my entire stay and kept the room neat. It is disappointing that an experience I have valued for over 10 years has been overshadowed by this incident.
