  First two nights here the hotel was filled with student athletes. Screaming and partying in the hallways. The walls are thin and you hear everything. Our last night, new years eve, the music from De Fuego is so loud it is shaking the walls in my room. I understand having events and celebrations but I'd have stayed somewhere else to avoid the noise.

  Update: Night 3, final night. For the third night in a row, a bunch of teen or young adult athletes are having a party in the hallway outside my room at 10:30 p.m. I've called the front desk - again - as have others. I've put a towel at the door threshold and also have ear plugs. No one seems to want to take care of the problem. Regarding the room, I wondered why I could hear road noise and it was cold despite the heat on. I found the window was not closed properly. The bathroom toilet is also so close to the wall, it's almost not functional. The bathroom is so small and cramped, you can't close or open the door easily. Just checked in. I'm in newly renovated section. The construction was not inspected. You can push the door open, anyone can. It won't lock. The door handle doesn't line up to lock. I've traveled from Pennsylvania (about a 20 hour day) and can't go to bed because it's not safe and my door doesn't close! Waiting on maintenance, no other similar rooms are available. I was offered an accessible room and when i said i need some compensation for that, she offered me a discount coupon for the restaurant downstairs. Wow! Poor customer service. Now it's 10 p.m. and they are sawing and sanding trying to fix the door. People are trying to sleep. Finally got it where it will close but can't use the deadbolt. They don't seem to care. I will never stay here again and recommend others find another hotel instead.

  Awful experience. My daughter and I checked in at 9 pm, our room wasn’t ready. The front desk person gave us a king bed, we had reserved two queens. He didn’t try to fix the problem, just told us “it’s a nice and remodeled room”. Not a huge deal but there was no bedding for pull out couch so we had to wait for that. The sound proofing in the rooms is non-existent. Our upstairs neighbors sounded like elephants, they got in late and woke up early. Not their fault. We just didn’t get much sleep with all the noise. The hotel also butts right up to the freeway so lots of traffic noise all night. The only plus was that the room was clean. Will absolutely not be staying here again.

  Don’t recommend currently. New conversion (or so it seems). Room map not on line so couldn’t see which rooms I wanted. Electric key never issued (and I think they weren’t working). Dead bolt lock not working on two rooms. Parking lot full of containers so parking was awful (especially with 3 Christmas Parties), breakfast was only with full sit down restaurant which clearly was understaff (I left). Staff tried to make things better so they were one good spot.
