Staff were great, decent walking distance to some shops, bed was very firm and pretty uncomfortable. Advertised as having a view of the ocean, but the cheap rooms just have a view of the parking lot

This hotel is listed as 4 star which is diabolical. The owner is so cheap the basic cable package does not come with a program guide, so you have to just scroll aimlessly not really knowing what's on. The heat was completely turned off in my room for an extended time & was absolutely freezing ! Took hours for the room to even be comfortable. The front desk never answers the phone. I had a problem at 1am and she was in the back asleep. Her friend ( older guy) was watching TV with all the lights off & told me he was there for her to feel safer? So odd. Guess she sleeps all night then goes about her day. Everywhere inside hotel is cold. Carpet needs replacing in halls and rooms. Location is great, hotel is nice on outside. Has a really nice view and nice walking trail.
Poor management. Lacking in customer service.
Came back to edit post due to ants all over the bathroom & coffee bar. Looking through reviews the ant infestation has been an ongoing issue for over a year. Hotel has so much potential to be really nice and accommodating with new management.

This hotel was great. After a horrible experience attempting to check in at another hotel in town, the man at the front desk was so easy to work with, so friendly, and so accommodating. The pool area was clean. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Emailed twice to complain but still no response hence why I'm writing this.
(EXTREAMLY RUDE STAFF MEMBER NAMED ROY)
I recently stayed here with my friend under the name Ferguson (David). We checked out on the 1st of November. Stayed for two nights. Room 318 I think.
When having breakfast over the two days one of your employees was extremely rude; Roy who works from the kitchen area. Small man with glasses. When I asked him the second morning if he could ask the chef if the ham in the egg omelette was gluten free he replied "I told you yesterday dude, nothing in the kitchen is gluten free", I replied back "the eggs are gluten free, the yogurt is gluten free & the peanut butter is gluten free, your given misinformation to customers" in which he turned his back to me and made the gesture with his hands meaning stop talking in which I replied that's very rude.
I've worked with the public over many years and never once experienced this kind of behaviour, I can only imagine it's his first time dealing with the public. I was in absolute disbelief with his behaviour!
Thanks
Mr Gordji.

Very, very hard uncomfortable beds. The beds have no give at all, basically the floor lifted up. I thought Hampton inn was known for comfortable quality beds. Nope! Ugg. Do not recommend if you hate sleeping on cement.
