The bartender forgot he was a waiter. When I asked him to make popcorn at 9:15, he said he'd already cleaned everything and wouldn't do it. When I asked him about closing time, he said he had 45 minutes left. So what? I usually stay at this hotel once a week and this bartender seems to have gotten too greedy.

SCAMMERS! They stole my debit card information and tried to spend $700+ on it! The only place I used my debit card was at this hotel! Do not go here!

Our overall experience at the Hilton Garden Inn was just okay. It offered us the basics of what we needed for a one night stay but nothing special and not somewhere I'd like to stay for more than just a night or two. My primary gripe is with the "online check-in" process that promoted me to download an app. The online check in said that if completed, we could bypass the front desk, choose our own room and use a digital key card. I completed all the steps ahead of time. But in reality, I couldn't get a digital key card without presenting to the front desk to give my ID. Once at the front desk, they informed me the room I chose wasn't ready despite it being 3pm which was the hotel's check-in time. And once I finally had a digital key, it didn't work. None of this was a really big issue, I just found it a waste of time to have gone through the online check-in and downloading the app only for it to not really allow us to bypass checking in at the front desk. With regards to the room, it was clean enough though the bathroom was outdated and run down. The heater/air conditioner was quite loud but responsive to what we set the thermostat to. Unfortunately one of the elevators was out of service so the elevator wait was a little long since it seemed to be busy in the hotel.

Everything was fine, except the heater in the room is extremely loud! Unfortunately it doesn’t stay consistently on either, so it kept kicking on and off all night and made it extremely hard to sleep 🥲

Location is good - easy to get back into the highway, walking distance to some restaurants. Parking lot is big enough, never had issues finding where to park. The hotel is a bit outdated, elevators can take time, the carpet on the rooms and halls can tell many stories. Our room was next to the ice machine, we could hear it from the room. However, everything was clean, rooms are big, beds are comfortable and staff was friendly.
