- TTtamarah tozerDec 22, 20252.0For me it’s all about the bed. The room configuration was amazing for our large family but the beds were honestly the worst we’ve experienced. The queen beds dipped in the middle so me and my son ended up both smooshed in the middle. And then the pull out bed was covered in crumbs so I had to get the vacuum to clean it before I made the bed for the kids. And then that sofa bed was so bad. I felt bad for my kids sleeping on it. They’re not heavy kids and they both could feel the springs everywhere. It wasn’t an expensive hotel so I guess you get what you pay for but it’s sad because the beds mean so much when you’re travelling and need a good night sleep. Breakfast was good and the room was clean!
- FAFatima AlbaitiDec 18, 20251.0My partner and I just stayed here, we checked in late night after a long 5 hour drive to Sudbury. Checked in around 2am. The lady who checked us in at night was nice, we go into our room and pass out. We ended up getting woken up at 12:00am sharp to check out. We ended up getting harassed for 20 minutes as we were rushing to pack out things and leave. The lady who I assumed was the manager threatened to charge us for late checkout. (Quote ‘Do you want me to charge you’) We leave immediately, and speak to the manager at the front about the charge. She stated it was our ‘fault’ and that we were taking advantage. Zero hospitality and customer service. We will NEVER be staying here again. Out of all the years coming to Sudbury, we have never been treated like that by a hotel. It was a mistake that we even booked this place to begin with, we meant to stay at The Hilton Garden Inn, who are very nice and we never have had a single issue. We were charged around $73, pretty much a fraction of what it cost to stay the night just for leaving 20 minutes later. In total, we spent almost $300 for a less than 12 hour stay for a room overlooking the pool on the ground level.
